I know what you mean about despondency but then I realise that's what shitsrael and it's cronies want, for people to give up mentally and with less and less action, but then that gives them free rein to do all of their PR to spin it into 'the good guys won against the evil terrorists'.

There's no way I'll cave into that tyrannical tit. I do feel like there's been some progress very slowly but steadily with the ordinary person's actions of demonstrations and boycotts, as well as pure disdain and many more people (as well as world leaders) becoming even more outspoken against Israel's genocide of Palestinians, and their conniving and meddling around the world.

It's always interesting to me that the fallback position of those determined they're in the right for not caring about the lives of Palestinians, Lebanese, or others is "well you just hate Israel/you're antisemitic!"

Interesting that holding Israel to the same standards we hold other countries to - things like respecting international law and human rights is somehow either holding Israel to an apparently higher standard or targeting them. No one ever tries that sort of argument when we call out Russia for invading another country and committing war crimes, or China for an ongoing genocide, or Türkiye for refusing to acknowledge a genocide, or the UAE for modern slavery...
Just who is holding Israel to different standards in this argument, exactly?

The truth is that western governments are waking up to the fact that the Israelis are totally out of control and the uk and others are complicit in a Genocide that’s becoming worse by the day and the Americans can do nothing because they’re controlled by AIPAC and the election is closing in and that’s all they’ve cared about this past year.
The difference is that the Americans are not under the jurisdiction of the ICC the UK is and they thought that sticking with the Americans was good but now the gravity of the situation is becoming undeniable they’re worried for their own future and that’s why they are harassing the lawyers at the ICC and threatening their families the evil bleeps.
ETA Veronica we are all feeling burned out by this Genocide I don’t think we will ever be able to unsee the evil that’s happening to the Palestinians it’s beyond bad it’s unbearable

Regarding the Occupied Territories Bill, we (the Irish public) have been campaigning for it to be enacted since roughly this time last year. Our Government have been dragging their heels. I have written to the taoiseach twice about it and have gotten no response, I imagine it's the same for many others.

ITV actually took the episode off the catch-up app and edited out the watermelon before putting it back up again. She was wearing it for the entirety of the episode so it took a while. I meant to come back to this but sometimes twitter and even this thread is too much for me. I haven't read the article but I've seen a couple of screenshots. Isn't it amazing that - despite visual evidence of the carnage they leave in their wake, including bodies which have been run over by bulldozers and tanks - Israel denied it all, only for them, many months later, to come back and not only admit it, but to say that's the norm? That they use Palestinians as human shields and deliberated run them over? And that's not just a 'bad apple' but apparently an IDF policy? And like you say, expect any sympathy from us? And it's just another admission of the kind of atrocities taking place that gets absolutely zero coverage on legacy media. They're literally admitting it, but we're so desensitised that the horror kind of gets buried by the framing.
