There's so much info on all of these threads that you forget. Alice is like Donald Trump. He would tweet or do something outrageous, despicable, and usually a complete lie or insult, but you had hardly any time to digest it or for it to stick to him because he was on to the next outrageous thing to capture the news cycle. That's Alice for the gossip cycle.
Let's go back to this quote from Alice about Damian Lewis's love for Helen McCrory, which
@IHateHadargoyle and
@Knitwit talked about in the last thread, and both made great points.
Alice's comment: "But the fact he loved so so so much and she was so flawed. But he didn't care. It's changed my whole opinion of him."
I agree with
@Knitwit. "She co-opted Helen's tragic death for her own gain." And as
@IHateHadargoyle said: "It was all about trying to get him back." She used Helen's death to passive-aggressively point out about Ioan not loving her enough,. But she also can't help herself. She actually insulted a dead woman, who handled a grim prognosis with dignity, doing far more things during her last two years on earth than Alice has in that same time period, because she just drinks and mixes pills and lies in bed and attacks people and lies on social media. Yet this remark by Alice shows everything that is wrong with Alice.
So in only a few sentences she uses a woman's death to take a passive-aggressive dig at Ioan. Alice then insults the beloved actress, who had a great career and marriage and children and up until a few weeks before her death was very active in her charity work during the pandemic , by stating, "she was so flawed." "
So flawed"? WTF? Who says that kind of stuff? As
@Knitwit said: "Helen was immensely talented, funny, hugely well-loved, and respected within the industry and by her family and she was all the things Alice is not."
Then she goes on to insult Damian in her so-called compliment abut his love for his wife. "It's changed my
whole opinion of him." So WTF does that mean? She had a low opinion of him? That's what it insinuates since she states it changed her "
whole opinion" of him. She can't help herself, Miss High and Mighty Alice Evans. Damian is so glad he was able to change your opinion of him, Alice.
There's an ugliness that pops out all the time from her in the strangest of ways.
