I hope ive done spoiler correctly to protect those triggered by these topics.
So turds, I've shared a bit in the past about my history re why I initially sided with AE. Divorce, cheating, etc etc. Can't recall if I also explained that I was raped by my first manager out of college, who was also the CEO of the company, a powerful businessman at the time and also my then long term boyfriends fathers best friend. The Harvey W stuff triggered the hell out if me at the time, although my rape was a long time ago. It's another reason I don't believe AE and her story re HW now. Tbh though, I've been very anti men for a few years, since Divorce, and also because my brother in law was very inappropriately texting and calling me at one stage after I separated, saying he'd " picked the wrong sister " and after I called him out on it on a call, he totally denied it. It caused a rift between my sister and I for a few years. I have since chosen to move past it and although it was really bloody hard, I'm OK with it now because I know he knows he fucked up big time, and he was going through a lot of stuff himself.
Also, some here mentioned about tapering issues for SSRIs. I've started tapering off Lexapro, as I was on 20mg for 2 years and tbh it wasn't helping. I worked through my depression ( have had since age 16 at least, plus anxiety, probably younger) via a load of self help books, meditation, nature!!! Big time, and generally learning about myself. just started therapy again though, as I think that's the final piece in the puzzle I need.
All this to say, a huge part of me going back to therapy, and feeling better in myself has been down in no small part to this thread! The inspiration and insight I've received here gas been honestly better than anything I've ever experienced with family or friends. Realistically, I know I probably will never get to meet any of the wonderful, inspirational and all around bleeping hilarious and insightful folks I've been privileged enough to share words with on here. I can't thank you all enough for what you've brought to my life in the past year. You are all truly amazing people, each so different and all ( well most bar the occasional trolls obviously!) so very insightful, honest and very, very human. I love you all. I never would have expected to find any of this on a gossip forum, nor have imagined sharing this with strangers from everywhere. But here I am! Thank you ! And because tomorrow is Paddy's Day and I'm Irish: go raibh maith agat a stór!
Sending you lots of hugs love and respect for your courage to face such difficulties and to be able to deal with them. Unlike Alice who hasn’t the wisdom and self knowledge that you have, along with the empathy that you have shown 😘

I'm only at the start of this thread, but I just wanted to say, @StoneMountain I love that you post links to support sites at the start of each thread. It's not only thoughtful, but a sober reminder on each new thread that there are very serious issues at play within this entire fiasco that effect so many people from different walks of life. Particularly for fresher members (and indeed veterans), it's a really good thing to do. Chink chink to you friend 🥂

There's so much info on all of these threads that you forget. Alice is like Donald Trump. He would tweet or do something outrageous, despicable, and usually a complete lie or insult, but you had hardly any time to digest it or for it to stick to him because he was on to the next outrageous thing to capture the news cycle. That's Alice for the gossip cycle.

Let's go back to this quote from Alice about Damian Lewis's love for Helen McCrory, which @IHateHadargoyle and @Knitwit talked about in the last thread, and both made great points.

Alice's comment: "But the fact he loved so so so much and she was so flawed. But he didn't care. It's changed my whole opinion of him."

I agree with @Knitwit. "She co-opted Helen's tragic death for her own gain." And as @IHateHadargoyle said: "It was all about trying to get him back." She used Helen's death to passive-aggressively point out about Ioan not loving her enough,. But she also can't help herself. She actually insulted a dead woman, who handled a grim prognosis with dignity, doing far more things during her last two years on earth than Alice has in that same time period, because she just drinks and mixes pills and lies in bed and attacks people and lies on social media. Yet this remark by Alice shows everything that is wrong with Alice.

So in only a few sentences she uses a woman's death to take a passive-aggressive dig at Ioan. Alice then insults the beloved actress, who had a great career and marriage and children and up until a few weeks before her death was very active in her charity work during the pandemic , by stating, "she was so flawed." "So flawed"? WTF? Who says that kind of stuff? As @Knitwit said: "Helen was immensely talented, funny, hugely well-loved, and respected within the industry and by her family and she was all the things Alice is not."

Then she goes on to insult Damian in her so-called compliment abut his love for his wife. "It's changed my whole opinion of him." So WTF does that mean? She had a low opinion of him? That's what it insinuates since she states it changed her "whole opinion" of him. She can't help herself, Miss High and Mighty Alice Evans. Damian is so glad he was able to change your opinion of him, Alice.

There's an ugliness that pops out all the time from her in the strangest of ways.

  1. Alice made a royal show of herself during the filming of Harrow particularly in the run up to Lockdown 1. Cast members report outrageous drunken demands and accusations being made of Ioan and the management. Cast members report a man at the end of his tether who clearly wasn’t in a happy or cohesive marriage. Indeed they report examples of being abusive and threatening.
This is what makes me sad. We’ve just rewatched Harrow S1-2 on Disney+ and there were some really harrowing (haha) moments for his character, quite dramatic stuff and watching it all knowing that tit was going on behind the scenes makes the acting and end result more striking tbh. He did well to get over it and be the actor.

This is really great analysis, you’re so right. She’s something else. She really is.

We put these in the wiki way back when, because although we do laugh at some stuff she does, and it can be light hearted, overall it’s quite serious and there is never ever an excuse for abuse. Also I think many people who lurk do so because they have their own story to tell and some find it a little triggering. If you are lurking and need help escaping an abusive relationship, please look at the links. It is possible to get away from them and be happy ❤️

I've just thought of the ideal job for Alice...she'd make a perfect Dhar Mann villain, with her weirdly antiquated ideas on divorce. I'm pretty sure they shoot the videos in LA as well.

Mr Junebug and I love Dhar Mann!! So funny, but (I'm sort of ashamed to say) can also reduce me to reluctant tears for the beautiful moral reveal 🤣
I don't know her name, but hilarious tall blonde woman who usually plays the villain? Yep, AE could nail that part, hands down! Clutching the pearls at dawn!

The 10 stages of understanding Alice

  1. Poor woman. How awful for a mum to be dumped for a younger model
  2. She’s a bit mad but who wouldn’t be in the circumstances
  3. Ok she’s cray cray but he cheated on her
  4. Nope just cray cray
  5. Hmm. you can’t blame him but he could have done it better
  6. Nope he couldn’t have done it better
  7. duck me what took him so long
  8. She‘s an evil narcissist lying bleep
  9. Save the E’s
  10. Save Leon.

I skipped steps 1 to 7 and went straight to 8. My jaw was hanging open after the second tweet I read, which happened to be the one where she called IG's mum a racist.

Why doesn't she realise that there are screenshots of everything she posts? She's on here often enough, surely she's realised? How deluded can one person be?
My guess is her argument will be that you can edit/fake screenshots? Although it's not a good argument cause 1. She screenshots everything we do cause we're a series of 20+ accounts all run by Ioan and Bianca (we sleep alternate schedules to provide 24/7 coverage) and 2. You can see if a pic has ever been edited in about 2 seconds with widely available metadata software

@Mad Betty can you enlighten those that may have overlooked it who posted here and what was said??

This should be added to the wiki! 🏆

💯 this ❤. He did a damn good job with Harrow but yeah, some scenes def' got to me too knowing (after the fact) just what he was going through off camera.
