BIB - The thing is I wouldn't either if she was actually earning the money herself. But it just doesn't make sense to me that she's constantly whining about her financial situation and instead of actively doing something about it, she just continues to happily spend Ioans money without a care in the world. This just doesn't sit right with me at all.

Ages ago Netflix did a film like this, what was interactive and you could pick which way to go throughout the story, is was really cool! Obviously I can't remember what it was called 🤦🏼‍♀️
 
Dear @TinkSparks, I'm so terribly sorry to read what your husband is going through. I know by extension you are going through it too, and you probably have to be the "strong" person most of the time. That's incredibly hard, so make sure you take care of yourself when you can. You are loved and important, not least of all to us, your friends here.

Grief is overwhelming most of the time and it sounds like your husband has suffered a lot in the past few years. I hope he can focus on the many good memories he has of his brother to comfort him in his grief. And as for his beloved child, kids really do grow up and see things for how they were, so take heart and look forward to the future. I don't know if this is welcome, so please let me know if not, but I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Which would be fine (well its not ideal) IF she was using her own money and was providing properly for herself and kids, but she's not...for someone who claims to have zero money and a bad credit rating, where is all this money coming from 👀
 
you cannot sue for defamation on court statements, only perjury. You can for Social Media posts and interviews on national TV/tabloids though, but I suspect Ioan wont do that because there is no money to get out of this.

as an aside Ioan's accusations are supported with mountains of evidence, in large provided by Alice herself, Alice's accusations are one big fart

Even if you change how the world works and assume perjury equals defamation she cannot sue him in the UK either because he didnt said this in a UK court. He can sue her in the UK for her interviews though

She's barking mad! She hasn't got a leg to stand on re a defamation suit in the UK or the USA!
All this is just empty threats, these idiots that are agreeing with her really need to educate themselves with the court transcripts.
Ioan can't be sued for repeating those words that came out of Alice's mouth succinctly captured and recorded by their children.

Once again, Alice sock thinks that abuse is only physical. Any mental, emotional, written or verbal abuse is absolutely cool with her!

Alice seems to have severe abandonment issues. Her father/family abandoned her. Ioan abandoned her. Her fear is probably that the girls will eventually abandon her. Everyone abandons her. There’s a common denominator here that she can’t see. She really needs a lot of self reflection and therapy.

Can I please say such a huge THANK YOU to you all for such beautiful messages to me following the loss of my treasured doggy. I decided to pick a lovely urn & get her ashes back, instead of burying her. She is now home & on my bed for just now. I still can't believe she is gone. This noisy house somehow feels deadly quiet without her here in it. I still find myself forgetting she is not here, I wake up to a hot day and think - oh no it's gonna be warm for her, I'll open all doors for a draft & put some cold water over her. I have left a few bits of my evening meal - as a tasty bit for her. I pass the living room where her "bed" was - and forget. I swear I still hear "her" bark. Over 15 years together, I know I was luckier than many in the time we got together and I am thankful.
I really just wanted to say thank you so much, your words mean a lot, they really did/do xxX
