I think it's more like she is pleased that money comes in, and that Ioan cannot exercise visitation for the time being. It's two wins for her in a way, even if the former is bitter sweet. though I do wonder if she has realized that it's not that easy in her age to find a rich man and thus she realizes that she needs Ioan to be employable. She has probably also realized that she will only be freed of her DVRO in 2025 if she plays now nice, she may have the composure after 2 years to play the long game on this..

tbh the thing about the movie is...it's a bit the opposite with regards to the house. Normally it would be "Oh great, now that the court ordered to sale the house he suddenly gets a big movie role, I challenge it on these new grounds!". But instead they agreed to sale (no doubt the Bad Boys 4 gig has been known before 7 April, unless it's a very tiny role, which based on the description I doubt). Of course perhaps the truth of the story is also that Alice never really liked the house (she implied it many times) but used it as a stick to beat him anyways.

I also dont think that it's a big paycheck. Unless he is the main villain (which Eric Dane appears to be) he will probably barely get into the top 10 of the callsheet. I mean I get that Alice isnt as crazy as 2 years ago (probably) but she had a ton more to lose with his French TV Series than this.

I am 100 % sure she gets something in return: whether it relates to the criminal charges being dropped (in this theory by witness dropping out) or Ioan giving her more spousal support.

Do you think she would have been given much of a sweetener? Or do you think maybe her lawyer finally got through to her that the court won’t be able to make Ioan pay for a house he can’t afford and if she continues to discuss their case publicly (in light of the PRO) she risks losing the children too?

her other lawyers did the same, I doubt that would stop her. Unless the explanation is she wised up (eh) I'm sure there was something in it for her.

The "the only home his children have ever known" line is straight out of that twit Alice's mouth. Also, Alice has no friends, so the source quoted comes directly from her. And Ioan didn't "walk out on his daughters", he left his abusive wife.

It's gross too how they refer to Bianca as "29"(she's 30), his "young girlfriend" and how Ioan is living off "handouts" from her. He also didn't go public with Bianca until October 2021, not September.

it isnt really negative tbh, it even acknowledges that there was no option, but it's funny as heck with the known context of Alice being mates with Boshoff.. tbh I dont get the logic behind it: Why post that you are mates with an DM reporter, and then have them announce in an article stuff about your divorce by pretending that "a friend" said this and while that DM reporter even quotes part of a bio that is in the whole context praising that DM reporter. The whole ‘the kids are losing the only home they have known’ really makes me . That’s adult speech. We moved homes a bit when I was a kid and it never bothered me other than starting new schools. The only time it would bother kids is if they had a parent who was banging on about them losing their family home and how awful it is. Then as a kid you would feel anxious and worried.

I'm not. She had to move out and her moving out was not IG's problem due to the leaseback thing. I think IG has learnt his lesson when it comes to mAlice - no more Mr Nice Guy. She deserves 0% spousal support, not the 10% as per the prenup.

I know it’s been mentioned before but I would truly love for mAlice to get a stint on the RHOBH. Which of course she won’t cos she is nowhere in any of the other housewives league.
