I noticed there were no DM payments in the most recent financials. There appeared to be circa $40k last year. I think they’ll be careful around the DVRO and Ioan’s team will have contacted them.

Why bother paying her when you can get her stuff for free on the internet? She’s blown that source of income unless she does a contrite / breakdown piece.

Sweep on whether we see Ioan and Bianca doing something very mundane tomorrow?
 
As far as I can see all that Alice achieved was a few headlines that last about a day. Leaving aside the impact on her children she hasn’t caused any more damage to Ioan. Indeed if anything she has publicised that he can and will stop her tit stirring. The risk she proposed to his career as a loose cannon is increasingly diminishing. In the past employers must have worried about her making up lies which could impact on a production.

Today she told the world that if she tries that she will get arrested. She cannot make the noise and veiled threats she once did. She is stuck with complaining that he left her and that is a so what complaint.

In terms of her making a scene when arrested and detained, well it depends on the calibre of the officers. Well trained and experienced police have dealt with far far worse than Alice. They don’t come knocking at 4pm when the children at just back from school unless they are very stupid. It is better to turn yourself at a time of your choosing especially at the weekend.

I think she knew she would break it, I think she knew she'd need a criminal attorney, and I think that's why she requested the $110k house distribution instead of the $100k that had been the number for years.

The house will sell so that's guaranteed money. She's got the other $10k as a criminal attorney retainer or bond knowing that she would plead guilty and/or fines.

The police investigate and the DA prepares the case based in their evidence. There’s nothing stopping anyone giving the police or DA more evidence structured in a helpful manner. In criminal cases you lose the control you have in a civil matter. Ultimately you rely on quality of the prosecutors decisions and presentation.

I think that Marie’s first responsibility will be to the court, and the legal process, not the Abuser, her client. I’m also sure that Marie would have drawn her attention to it, would have spoken to her about it, advised her to attend as it would harm her for the custody/financial hearings if she were a no show. It would also look very bad for Marie and her legal firm to have a client act this way, not do their professional reputation any good.

My thoughts and I may be wrong here.

Except that a criminal attorney and bail are not going to wait for their house to sell. She's going to need cash up front.

I often wonder, how on earth do lawyers defend their clients that they don't even like? Amber Heard's lawyers clearly lost like/respect for her the more it all went on and I can only think Marie feels the same about Alice! How hard must it be to plead on their side!
