I don't consider myself to be manly even though I'm almost 6ft tall. Rather, I try and appear as elegant and feminine as possible. My boyfriend is also shorter than me, and I'm very aware that's not a social norm.

Also, the hostility and pointed comments I get from short women in real life really wears me down. Heightism is real and it seems it's the only body feature it's acceptable for people to make unsolicited comments on.

Have you seen assistant trying to make her keep moving and she ignores and continues looking for who else wants her autograph.. desperate for attention. Interestingly (ive looked through videos) she mostly looks distinctly uncomfortable, even when young and presumably popular in france, and keeps scanning the crowd checking on reaction..

Reminds me of how I behaved as a pissed teenager running into friends at the club! Totally embarrassing at a work function, and this must have been early in the night. Another piece of evidence about how embarrassing she was (the worst being when she told paparazzi that Simon cowell ‘likes tr*nnies’

tbh her looking who else wants a autograph is fine, even if it's not her event she was at the time on Vampire Diaries for a couple of episodes, so it's not far-fetched to think that people want her autograph, it's just the way she does all this that is highly inappropriate and very unsupportive.

I agree 100% ! Also I just looked at one particular video (I think there are two so easy to find) where she is in a red dress with long trail. There is definitely something gone on before as she looks pissed off and at one point you can see the way he glances at her when she moves (he stopped smiling to cameras and are re-arranging position for more posing together) and you can tell he is either afraid of her or of what she can do! And I came here to share and seen your post - there is basically a video confirmation of what you are saying!

I agree and I think it’s not looking for who wants an autograph per ce, it’s the way it came across: as if she broke away from him (and ushering assistant) and went i to the crowd as if it was all her personal fans

Im absolutely sure that (even of it sometimes sounds like it and I appreciate how unpleasant it must and so sorry if anything I ever said upset you) the references about her towering over him are nothing to do with her actual height and everything to do with her attitude and personality. She is practically smothering him. A small person with same attitude/ demeanour would produce same impression.
and as a short woman I can say I always admired tall ladies and always wished I could be so nicely tall. Im sure those who are making comments are just that type of people you know, they like to pick on people and appearance is the easiest one to use! As I say, Im small but everybody felt it was ok to tell me I had "pear shaped" figure, because I have small waist and kardashian type bum, some people comment on me blushing easily, as if it’s some sort of a joke - I’d say they are either tactless or probably just jealous and wished they were tall as you! :)
 
I agree that mAlices overbearing posturing is nothing to do with her height and everything to do with her overinflated ego and feeling that Ioan was (still is) her possession (same with their daughters).

Back in the Olden-Ioan days, she was always all over him.

I remember people seeing them at Matthew Rhys play, The Graduate and reporting back that it looked like he was wrestling with an octopus! 🤮
