Haven’t quite caught up here - I’ve just seen that Tamara has moved to Paris! Apparently it’s for her “business”. Interesting her approach compared to ITF’s and Lidl’s. Josie had a different audience so the cotswold can still work for her IMO. But Tamara and ITF o saw as contemporaries for brig brands (Lidl missed her mark there). ITF stuck in Milton Keynes compared to Tamara In two cities London and Paris (central!!!)!! What a joke the ITF brand has become!!!! Anna wintour editor of vogue etc in NYC lives there but has another home I’m the Hamptons! ITF should’ve stayed mates with Claire Chanelle who also had Chelsea london flat and her country pad in Essex but no she decided to become mates with Lidl instead who lives not in MIlyon Keynes Buckinghamshire but ok the border in Northamptonshire! Nothing wrong with that at all ... but location location location!!

I just watched Tamara's vlog too, she's in a different league to ITF. Had to laugh, she's in Paris shooting Balmain looks, and ITF is at home in Milton Keynes, buying her own makeup from Look Fantastic because she probably doesn't get many freebies now she's left Gleam!

Ok, bear with me here. I work in the fashion industry and the big thing now is to buy clothing in bulk from a reseller. Think 100s of Nordstrom returns or unsold items shipped off to a 3rd party and bundled onto a massive palette then resold to normal people for a few hundred dollars. These people then resell on Depop or Poshmark. Apparently there’s a company out of the UK that’s been buying up all the unsold high street orders from Bangladesh, India, China, etc. and are now re-selling in bulk to people. What if it’s something like that and the questions about would you buy this in this color are just misdirection? Because, like all y’all have said already, why mention clothing waste, but then ask about a blazer or suit?

The weird thing though is, if she were serious about sustainability, these are not the questions to ask. These questions make absolutely no sense in terms of sustainability in fashion or waste.

well, at least INTF is paying her own bills...just saying.
I don’t think living in central cities like Paris and London is decisive to partner with big brands. Look at Caro Daur who is in a much higher standard than both Tamara and INTF and lives in Hamburg.
This pandemic will change many things, including the way fashion industry works.
I don’t think her move to MK will hurt her career as I used to think. Yes, she will struggle with content, but this is where she will have to prove what she is made off. So far so good, still working with big and relevant brands, specially beauty wise.

There’s enough clothes already in existence to clothe the next 8 generations...

I’d love more influencers to post more about buying less but buying well. You don’t need the latest thing if your clothes are cut well and made from decent materials. Maybe you could buy an accessory or get something vintage freshly tailored etc to make it more modern? Idk. There are thousands of people without pay (and therefore food, medical care and housing) in countries where most clothes are made, due to companies cancelling their orders due to COVID. And don’t get me started on the guilt we all feel about not looking how we ‘should’ due to the constant manipulation by the media et al, so we spend money we don’t have on things we don’t need. These influencers have platforms, can start trends, so why not drive change and pioneer a different fashion world? The whole system is utterly broken.

ETA: Sorry if that’s a waffling rant. Still recovering from covid (12 weeks now) and feeling very tired today :(

Oh my god babe but her blazerrrrrrr will be sooo luxe and ssssssustainably sssssourced!! It’ll be SUCH A VIBE!!! Like reinventing blazerssss!!! Never mind that it’s better to buy a second hand blazer or use the ones you already own to truly avoid fashion waste. That’s just silly!!! Aesthetic is so so soooooo important and we all love getting a new package we don’t need!!!!

😂🙈😂🙈

(Glad you’re on the mend from covid. ♥️♥️)

Don’t think Milton Keynes will have the “vibe” London, Paris , Milan or any big city has ...even post COVID.......

Maybe with what you've said, her and Alex (husband, not brother) are going to buy up a bulk load and open a clothing stall on Milton Keynes market? ;):D:coffee::m

LOL I saw this earlier today and totally missed that she was in it. Her part is so minor...guess the footage she gave them was as lame as her blue eyeshadow 😂😂

Also, why is her footage quality such crap? Everyone else appearing in the montage has crystal clear clips but hers is a mess. The mighty Frow team strikes again!!!

Haha I noticed the tit quality too...compared to the others, how could you not! I guess the orangery has a crappy wifi connection 🤣

Even though her bit was so short compared to everyone else (someone got a bone thrown), she was tagged on Diet Prada’s stories, so she def saw this post. What are the chances she’ll address it by saying “this was filmed before I started my performative allyship and realized Black lives do, in fact, matter”?!

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but why does Vic never put AD on any of her instagram photos? Saw Vix Meldrew's information from ASA/CMA/CAP and it clearly states gifted items should be declared as AD and continue to be whenever shown - her wedding and pretty much every photo of her should be declared as an AD (as we all know she hardly ever purchases anything herself, but seems like she never does declare and seems to always get away with it???
