That flat in Manchester is stunning, have to admit I'm drowning in jealousy here 😅 I hope she decorates it well with the help of an interior desginer

Also, caught in the middle of the vlog, the casual way she just goes 'oh I'm going to buy one'...taking about the brand new range rover! Insane, she's just bought a new flat, a new electric sports car and she's going to drop a tit tonne on a new Rangey. Jesus.

(Also clocked Alex saying he wants a Defender. Ok, earn your own money and buy one then. Idiot)
 
I really don't understand the logic of buying a second property. It only makes sense if you're genuinely living between cities. Otherwise when you take into account higher rate stamp duty, service charge and ground rent and all the other costs associated with a second property you may as well stay in a hotel for the times you visit. It's not like she can Airbnb it (although I doubt she's actually read the lease).

I agree. It’s just another flex she thinks she’s supposed to have. Along with her list of overcompensation for 2023 on IG.

She really is annoying as all hell. Wealth whispers, Vic. It whisperrrsssss.
 
She opens the section of video in the apartment saying how unique the place is? Erm sorry but Manchester has an abundance of mill conversions all with the same exposed beams and brick work 🙄🙄 hardly unique at all.

Her building wasn’t hard to find, and her unit costs from £420k. Location is not what I expected she would go for. The developer can call it up and coming but it would definitely be rough round there at night. Then again she’ll be in her massive Range so she can’t see all the poor people.

Agree, I even rented a place really similar (not as fancy) when I lived in Manchester. I wonder if she meant unique TO Manchester? Red brick mill conversions is a northern thing, with Manchester being one of the biggest concentrations.

They must be working from there, or saying they are. If used as office space is it a tax deductible purchase?

I thought she said they were moving there, and the house is done for but I am not 100% sure.

I can’t believe she bought a place without ever viewing it! Ok put in an offer before viewing but to actually complete on a purchase after a friend’s recommendation, some videos and pics when it’s just a couple hours drive, is a big risk. Oh well her money!

Personally I think investing in a second place is a wise move. If they decide to stay down south and don’t end up using it much they can rent out or air B&B and eventually it will make money if they sell it. But I just can’t with the humble bragging about the flat, buying another Range Rover, leaving in the part about going to the bank to send over all the money for the new place etc. just no need. A but like when she felt the need to tell everyone she is overpaying on her mortgage. Why? People struggle to pay their mortgages so why brag about overpaying.

I’ve always warmed to Vic much more than Lydia or Josie, but it seems she’s rubbing me up the wrong way more and more now.

That’s Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London. I found it really bizarre that he was there at all and to give a speech is just weird. Must be friends with the owner or something. Choosing to leave in politically biased jokes is a weird move for an influencer imo, she could alienate some of her viewers doing that.

I’d disagree hugely on this as the area has changed drastically in the last 3-4 years. We have gentrification to blame for that- and rich folk like Victoria buying ‘second homes’ they don’t need.
