inpolife - in no particular order

I’m a really slow loser but I’ve lost 38 lb in 12 weeks. Some weeks I haven’t lost weigh but lost inches. Loses like Impo’s are easily achievable. Some doses are better than others and everyone really is different on them. The strangest thing is I don’t wake up and plan what I’m having to eat that day. I often forget to eat!! It’s mental how the ‘food noise’ disappears.
There are some really good monjourno uk Facebook pages that have lots of people sharing their experience and results.
That’s an average of 3lb a week that’s not slow that’s wonderful! You must feel fab? I’ve only been on it 6 weeks and I’ve lost about 10kg (about 22lb) still a long way to go but having tried everything else and failing, these results are so motivating! I love that the food noise is completely gone - for most of the week but definitely wears off around day 5 for me!

It’s just amazing stuff. I’m a health professional and all the consultants/ doctors I speak to about it want it to be available to anyone with a high bmi due to the health benefits. I just don’t understand why people, like impo, are so secretive about it.
I’ve only just started 10mg and the food noise is gone all the time, suppression is the best yet. Keep going, it’s magical stuff.

Where do you get it though? Is it through gp?

Also how do you deal with meal planning / shopping and feeding the family. Is that easier to handle ?

Online pharmacy, private prescription so it is costly. I use Medexpress they’re pretty reliable. You do an online consultation and have to send full length pictures and GP details.

Kids see to themselves food wise (adults) so I only need to feed myself. It’s pretty easy. The injections don’t hurt at all the needles are so fine you feel nothing 😉

It’s also stopped me drinking! Don’t even think about wine now! In 6 weeks I’ve had maybe 2 or 3 glasses. Usually I’d be drinking 2 or 3 bottles over a weekend!! Turns my stomach now, this has been the biggest life change for me I’m happy to say

If you looked at a couple of her tagged posts compared to the latest you can definitely see how much she’s lost

Yeah, I can see she's definitely lost some but to say she's half the woman she was is a stretch in my opinion - plus those pinned posts were all over a year ago.

I think when you are pretty big to start with, it takes time for weight loss to really be noticeable. Been there, done that - now twice in fact! I know people who haven't seen me for ages will immediately think gastric surgery, weight loss drugs or liquid diet when, in reality, it's been nearly seven years (finally beating a compulsive overeating disorder then introducing intermittent fasting, smaller portions, no snacking and more recently daily yoga) It's been a bleeping slog.

So, giving her the benefit of the doubt (which is hard as I dislike her intensely) it could be that the healthy eating and Peleton has finally started to pay off and you are only just really starting to see the results. Looking back at those old posts, it looks like a gradual change to me, not like it's just suddenly dropped off. The smaller you get, the more it shows as well - like half a stone at the beginning doesn't make any difference at all but, when you're nearing goal, it can equate to a whole size down.

But her attitude of pretty much refusing to talk about it though stinks, bearing in mind she has championed herself as a big girl and built her "brand" 🙄 (struggle to even type that without laughing) on it and just fuels suspicions that it's something else.

She has lost a huge amount of weight, fair.play to her.
But since she started her account her target audience was the slightly chubby middle age woman, which was fine. She did lots of positive work and it was great to see someone a bit bigger still looking great.
I unfollowed ages ago as I don't get the over exposure of her kids and I won't re follow now. She will have lost the reason that people were following her.

Hmm. This is why I think it can’t be weight loss jabs - they are notorious for causing Gallbladder issues. Publicly announcing it would a) be bloody obvious and b) mean she has to come off it.
It’s rapid fat loss than can cause gallbladder issues. However you achieve it, surgery, injections or just starvation. It’s not a side effect of weight loss injections per se. You can still either try to lose weight fast on the injections - going too low on daily calories, or go for a more slow and steady approach, which is better for your body in every way, but actually takes more effort and is a longer, safer, journey.

Didn’t know Inpo had a thread so just marking my place because I am fascinated by the weight loss and the fact she was ‘forced’ to talk about it because of all the comments she was getting. It is quite significant and does seem sudden so her explanation (fear of bowel cancer making her not eat) seems questionable. She seems to talk about everything on her stories so the fact she never mentioned this while it was happening just seems unlikely!
