I will say ONE positive, actually TWO - the fact they're championing local tradesman and saying how hard they work.

But I still don't get why you'd undertake massive renovations when you're this pregnant.

Haha if I'm honest, I thought that was super patronising! I only managed half of the video so far and all they say is how amazing Josh is, how much he works, how he's there all day to work, how he works, how great his work is.......... And I'm absolutely not saying that Josh the builder doesn't work hard, but Jesus Imo, this is what normal people do, you know, we work all day and we do a good job because if we don't, we'll be held accountable and might not be able to to pay the bills. Maybe patronising isn't the right word, but definitely out of touch. Just me?

I completely agree with you though, it's great they're going local and that they actually give credit to the builders.
Doing this much work while 7-month pregnant is beyond me. They moved into the house 8 months ago, why did they wait so long to knock down walls and remove bathrooms? I'm guessing they didn't plan this well at all and had to wait for tradesmen to become available. It does sound like they haven't learned their lessons though, she says that the plumber might not be available to do the work straightaway and that they might need to go with someone else. Good luck finding someone available at the drop of a hat!

Edited to add: I went back to look at the empty house tour and I do not understand why they needed to remove the nursery bigger! It's definitely going to devalue the property.

Just got round to watching the Reno video… I am absolutely baffled why on earth they continued to renovate with a baby due in 2 months I get people renovate during pregnancy but this renovation project is not planned thoroughly at all. My partners in the trade and they’re definitely using workmen doing ‘foreigners’ in the evenings and weekends for extra cash that’s why it’s taking so long and it’s cheaper for Grimmo All of this is definitely on the cheap…

PS… the bruising from fresh filler is SO noticeable I don’t know how she continued to deny it… it’s the first thing I noticed

I think the pair of them seem to be impulsive and naive… an unplanned pregnancy plus renovations…. I would of just postponed the renovation of a 500k outdated house or if it was a planned pregnancy buy a 500k up to date house

On the beg for a dyson air wrap now I doubt many of her followers can afford to spend £400 on a curler, let alone after a year in a pandemic so why is she pretending she needs their opinion. She is so bloody transparent.
