Did she not go out with some guy on BB back then? Met him on the show, Luke maybe? I can't really remember but I kinda remember her.

Yes he was Luke Marsden, they were a strange couple who I think would never have got together away from BB - think he was into politics.

I always thought that Ant and Dec were better on IAC than any other show they do because it was post watershed and they could sail a bit closer to wind with their gags and banter, and for that reason they carried the show. They might as well go and cast Tommy Robinson next year if they’re going down that path.

Yes Ant and Dec just aren't hitting the spot this time. And as you say IAC used to be effortless for them. I watched a couple of their last Takeaways and that was the same. (Not surprised there isn't another series). They've become so predictable. They used to have a genuine sense of mischief and fun and enjoyment in it all. Even the Welsh castle ones were better. But their jokes are so clunky now.
Seems a minor thing but I wonder if the constant rain isn't helping. They both actually seem a bit subdued. Not even joking about playing golf.

The trouble with Farage is he's actually really boring. Just gets on with the tasks, won't argue, not funny. Plus has the hide of a rhino so unlike Matt Hancock he 100% won't give a tit what anyone thinks of him so there won't be a story where he shows any anger or humility or whatever.

yes you're right - in the eating task last night it was actually quite chilling the way NF just got on with it in contrast to nella's hysterics

But in fairness you can't really expect him to start screaming hysterically like Nella, though it would have been great if he had.If he had shown irritation he would have been criticised for not being supportive. He kept telling her she could do it but didn't lose control himself. I am NOT a fan of his btw.

Doesn’t surprise me, some of the newspaper columns written back then were vile. Know they’re still awful but I remember I was a teenager in band fandom and some of the vitriol journos would write was awful.
 
Beginning to think I'm a celebrity has had its day day now its been going 23 years, its just too samey I know that's kind of the point but like how many years in a row have we had the side of a building challenge? Going in they are not getting the bigger stars anymore either
My husband said to me the other night how much longer are ant and Dec going to do the show for? We will still be watching them stumble around the jungle when they're 60?
Tbh I think they are just going through the motions now with the show and have lost some of their original sparkle
