I have an irrational hatred for Tony from Hollyoaks - I wish I knew why?!
I love Sam - I get his energy probably isn't for everyone but he is like a little Labrador when his face lights up 🥰

Agree, with this it’ll get extremely tedious I’m taking everyone as I find them, ie the way the behave in camp etc and making no judgements just because someone doesn’t align with my political view…
I actually thought Fred debating Nigel was handled well by both parties agreeing to agree to disagree and moving on…

I get where you are coming from there is something about her I don’t like, I think her actual presenting skills are bloody awful, she’s completely wooden and I struggle to see where her talent is 🤷🏼‍♀️ other than coming across as saccharine sweet and smiley.
 
I've seen a few clips and ant & Dec seem absolutely dreadful. I guess it's handy for them to blame the ratings down on last year (but apparently the same as two years ago) all on Nigel.

Tattle is apparently the worst site on the internet where people tear apart influencer because we're jealous haters, but the influencer on this year has just a short rave thread for positive messages. Odd that.

I imagine the boost in viewers last year was also because it was the first one back in Australia since 2019. I remember some weren’t fans of the Welsh ones as it didn’t feel the same
 
I always thought that Ant and Dec were better on IAC than any other show they do because it was post watershed and they could sail a bit closer to wind with their gags and banter, and for that reason they carried the show. But they both seem a bit jaded now, like they’re possibly fed up of it and going through the motions. I also don’t think they’re as close as they used to be. There have been a few occasions when I’ve thought the ease and rapport between them isn’t the same. I wonder what would happen if they decided to quit the show Would ITV ditch IAC? Now they have Celebrity Big Brother that could be on the cards because I think CBB could potentially be huge for ITV with their budget.

The boost in viewers last years was because of MY MATT (I’m serious btw). ITV have tried to recreate that buzz with Farage, and it’s backfired because whatever you think of Matt H he’s not a racist xenophobic piece of tit who spouts very dangerous rhetoric about immigrants and god knows what else. They might as well go and cast Tommy Robinson next year if they’re going down that path.

I'm inclined to think this show has had its day.
In the past Ant and Dec carried it but I do agree that it's seeming rather jaded now. They are no longer young men and their banter is rather tired now.

As for the contestants I try to judge them on how they perform in the show rather than just disliking them straight away because I don't agree with their politics or who they've had an affair with on the outside. However everyone will have their own opinions about that which is fair enough.

Farage is obviously there for the paycheck like everyone else and has no chance of winning or staying to the end. He'll be voted off early and get away with a ton of cash. Those that hate him will continue to dislike him and as he's a controversial figure public opinion is unlikely to be swayed either way. I laughed when Josie described him as an MP because he's never been elected to parliament, despite standing on many occasions. He was an MEP and voted like a turkey at Christmas to lose his own job 🫠

ITV should stop putting any political figures on this show (right or left) in my view and stick with showbiz types. The sports people are generally dull bar the odd one or two. This is an entertainment show and I don't watch it so that I can debate politics with anyone.
 
Farage is ok I am being objective as I really dislike his politics but he is trying to fit in and is very encouraging to the other contestants, no doubt he is hoping for an early exit so he can grab his money asap. Surprised at how much Grace Dent has aged, she looks like an elderly vulture, so far I like JosiI never saw her on BB but she seems very friendly and nice. I really havent taken to Spears she is a whingeing attention seeker, and that guy singing to her when she was in the bath? What an odd thing to do?
 
I have watched the first episodes and I'm not a I'm a celeb watcher tbh. I have watched bits of it in the past. But why the hell have they put in a bunch of UK celebs and then the random foreign "star" being Britney Spears' sister?

She's not even that known is she? Sursly they could have saved money and stuck in a decent size star from this country. She comes across as quite whiny too, as well as not seeming to be chipping in at all. No idea who some of the younger ones are and I'm in my mid 30s. I feel old.

Fred Siriex is bloody everywhere it seems. Josie Gibson? Really? Like someone else said, this show seems bit tired now, along with the concept. Like BGT, they just seem to drag it out every year and it's laziness by ITV.

Who would you have picked that’s bigger than her? What kind of celebs are you expecting them to get really?
Her show was huge for people my age tbf

To be fair, i don't know her as anything other than Britney's sister. Never watched her on anything. I doubt I'm the only one.

There's definitely big stars here with controversial pasts they could have tried to get i am sure. Not sure who exactly though, but they are definitely out there.

Also, given views seem to be down, it doesn't look like bringing her in has made much of a difference to the show.
