Everyone complaining in camp about Matt are the same people who did absolutely nothing to help during covid. It’s easy for people to sit and witch about how they would do something different or how they don’t agree with decisions that were made and add nothing to society themselves. When are they going to discuss Sues drink driving or the fact that Mike seems perfectly comfortable to continue to be around a family member who had links to Epstein?!
I’m sick of talking about covid and people thinking that gives them the right to witch about someone behind their back and treat them poorly. As others have said other ever country dealt with The same thing, the difference being we just have to find a scape goat to put all of the blame on, when as educated people we know full well it’s not so black and white, as do the camp mates, they are doing it and continuously talking about it because they think it’s what will make them popular when they get out.

BG is clearly over egging the “I can’t be around Matt Hancock” talk as he is wants the public on side. When he realises that the most of the viewing public don’t despise him, he will probably drop it.
I would be very surprised if BG has never voted conservative. He is a millionaire - and doesn’t strike me has someone who is keen to share his wealth. He is not striking me as the socialist type anyway..

2 hair cuts a week? Whose hair grows that fast?
Must be his incredibly quick brain pushing the hair out faster. 🙄

Of course it wasn't Charlene's fault at all
Wow a fool she is. She's full of bullshit. So it's Matts fault all the fun went when he came in? Charlene, you were bossy and selfish. Telling Scarlett how to cut a cabbage and expecting everyone to be uncomfortable to accommodate the nonsense you later came out with about professional integrity? Professional integrity is lost as soon as any of you left enter the jungle! Some of these 'celebrities' are desperate if they are using Matt Hancock as an excuse for their own failings.

I don't think it's about 'getting over it' regarding their feeling towards Matt because maybe they can't but they need to put their feelings aside and just get on with living in the camp etc. Going into shows like this you never know who is going to be in there so you need to suck it up and get on with it for a few weeks. I dont like BG but at least he was honest to Matt.

Yes interesting how he pointed out that Sean(n) doesn’t like conflict. That’s why he witches to him, because he knows he wouldn’t say tit. You can tell he’s trying not to agree with BG whilst simultaneously avoiding disagreeing with him because BG is such a strong personality and he’s probably intimidated.
A horrible trait and deliberately manipulative behaviour of the diva witch that always was BG.

I totally agree with they think it will make
It popular in the outside. I think I dislike the man so much (like many others) I worked right through and followed all the rules and he didn’t and I just hate the government in general.

Can I ask respectfully why Britain thinks they suffered worse than other countries regarding covid - my question is genuine and I’m interested.
I don't think most people in Britain do think that. My personal take on it was that the leadership at the time of covid was terrible - we were constantly being given contradictory and confusing advice from people that it transpired later on weren't sticking to their own rules and guidelines.
I was in a position where I lost my Dad during Covid but I followed the guidelines and was not able to see him until the moment they switched his life support off!
During this same time, the people that were leading the country and including Matt Hancock with his affair, were having parties, gathering in groups and generally just flouting the rules.
So, I personally wonder what they knew about Covid if they were prepared to take those risks after all the fearmongering they spread to the general public during the same time.
When I see Matt Hancock on the screen - I don't blame him personally (although he was paid to deliver the correct information to the general public) but I see him as a figurehead for all the failings of a political party that got it very, very wrong.
He is a reminder to me, that I should have been more rebellious and maybe I could have saved my own Dad's life! He's a reminder to me, that I became one of those sheeple and stuck to the rules, that people mocked! If I had been more Matt Hancock or any of the Tories that thought it was OK to mingle with other people, maybe I would have gone into my parents' house and seen how ill my Dad was rather than having to rely on phonecalls. Maybe I would have insisted that the doctor see my Dad in person, rather than prescribing him antibiotics over the phone! (He died from a chest infection, pneumonia and sepsis - not covid). Maybe I would have been with him as they took him away in an ambulance on his own, knowing he was dying!

So, for most Brits, I think you'll find their reaction to Matt Hancock is a deeply personal one, surrounding their own circumstances and nothing to do with how Britain fared against the rest of the world in the covid stakes! That's really not even on my mind at all.

I don't even despise Matt Hancock to be honest - he's just a normal man, with the failings of a normal man. What I can't really deal with is watching him leading a pretty good life and his desperation for redemption when so many of us, lost so much after following his advice.
If he carried on with his political career, then so be it if his constituents still want him representing them but I don't need to see him on my TV trying to show what a great guy he really is!

Sorry that was so long!

Mike probably dislikes Andrew as much as anyone. The other crimes mentioned are the campmates are doing like Sue, George etc. Mike shouldn’t be questioned on Andrew

I also wonder how many more of the celebs on going to blame Matt’s presence for their own shortfalls once evicted.

I hope Charlene’s tactic of blaming Matt continues to backfire on her spectacularly.

Sue is a bitchy moany arse and Mike goes along with it. BG is used to getting his own way isn’t he.

Scarlette is bossy, Baba isn’t funny.

I warmed a lot to Owen, Seann has mental health issues for sure so am glad to see him sharing that.

Matt is plodding on and rising above the drama which is fab to watch!

Yeah the hug came from the same conversations about lockdown fines
Here you go

We need more direct questioning like this, less pathetic bitching behind the scenes. I am no fan of Matt but don't hate him. You cannot blame one man for every decision in the Pandemic. But I acknowledge he represents a Government that behaved appallingly. We ALL suffered and still are, we're still in a Pandemic situation. Lives have been lost, lives will never be the same. Everyone of is has a story and experience. I strongly disagree with Matt being in the jungle as a serving MP, yes be annoyed at him but also vent anger towards ITV for facilitating.
The uniqueness in this situation is that Matt represents something that every campmate, every viewer has suffered from unlike others trying to rescue or raise their public profiles in there.
BG case was vile, but does not affect every person, Sean was a head boyfriend, but it affects no one other than him, his girlfriend etc.etc.
MH didn't kill those we loved, he didn't make decisions alone. He did take the piss out of his own regulations and as such slapped every one of us in the face though. 😡
The world was in a 'unprecedented situation'. THE WORLD, it still blows my mind.

So I'd like more questioning and conversation like this, put him under the spotlight. He's trained and being well paid for it both as an MP and campmate - you'd soon see the real person but the rest of the camp are all backing down now, pathetic. Now the camp mates are just fluffing around it, they are on self preservation as they've seen the public protect Matt. To me, every one of them is shallow without conviction (Karma Cameleon 😂).
