Just seen a clip of Janet Street Porter (think this about 5 days ago) saying if she'd been in jungle this time she would of assaulted matt 🤦 I'm sorry if a man gets absolutely crucified for saying stuff like that about a women why is a women ok to say that? Ridiculous all as bad as each other
Jsp is full of tit she used to famously slag off the Royal family saying they are out dated and should be got rid of etc on loose women .....then accepted an MBA personly from the queen

I gather he performed as our local arts centre about five years ago and was a total prat and ended up getting off his face and shagging one of the stage hands. My neighbour works there and she thought he would be ok but he was awful. So I don't buy his nice guy act any more than Matt's all round good egg act.

Politicians are givent in a lot of training in how to behave in public he can be himself in his RV and take a break from pretending to like them.

As do pro rugby players

Omg we've just got rid of one bossy boots wanting to take over 🤦
Yeah. I’m starting to dislike Scarlette actually. Been really bossy these last couple of days.

I wouldn’t normally want to see all the women leave first but honestly, Jill’s the only decent woman we’ve had on it this year. I just want to see the backs of the other 2 now.

I would....
Me too!

I am getting wigged out by the Matt fanatics online. People saying he is being bullied by the camp when they are the softest lot we’ve seen in years 😭 Matt is employed to serve the public so it’s fair enough they ask questions. I couldn’t toast a piece of bread with the heat they were putting on him

That being said I agree BG can be a bit off. I like him and think he’s funny, and he has moments of kindness too, but it was ironic he was complaining about other people’s compliance when he was relying on Seann’s compliance to have a safe audience for his complaints. 🤷‍♀️ I’ve noticed he chats a lot to Seann when he wants to vent and it feels like it’s because Seann will just listen and rarely disagree (he did object once or twice to things but he seems anxious to please generally)

It’s a bit of a pet peeve when people witch to the anxious. IMO it’s bad to talk At someone who will find it hard to say they don’t feel comfortable with it lol

Yes interesting how he pointed out that Sean(n) doesn’t like conflict. That’s why he witches to him, because he knows he wouldn’t say tit. You can tell he’s trying not to agree with BG whilst simultaneously avoiding disagreeing with him because BG is such a strong personality and he’s probably intimidated.

I have ADHD and I'm very sensitive to rejection, maybe he has ADHD too. Or of course as mentioned earlier he could have severe self esteem issues from getting absolutely roasted on social media after the whole strictly thing.
I wondered this too. Especially with him saying things about he was worried about forgetting things and that annoying Scarlette.

He's a tosser, and Sue is just a moaning monotone bleep
Well I reckon BG would be genuinely thrilled to provoke such a strong reaction in you!

When I look at Sue, I just think that she belongs in a tabard, putting the world to rights (aka whinging like a goodun and slagging off everything and everyone!).....nothing to do with the fact that she appeared in that Dinner Ladies tv show, she just looks the epitome of a tabard-wearer. 🤷‍♀️

Scarlette is my new fave to leave actually.
Just voted. 3 for Matt, 1 each for George and Chris. Would have given 1 vote to Seann but feel uncomfortable about him being there now and would rather he left for his own sake and esp for his partner and soon to be born baby. He really needs to be in a safer space and not to spiral again.

Great description! A tabard wearer of the highest degree 😂😂

Matt always looks like he's hiding something in his jowls.

Also why is he guiding young Owen in inches, not centimetres? Poor lad won't have a scooby! 🤔
Some people just don’t react , like if you go into A&E with an arm hanging off.. whoever greets you at triage doesn’t get excited or panic, they will be cool cucumbers… Matt and politicians in general will have had some training in assessing before reacting… I don’t know why they don’t accept that this is just the way he is… it served him well when he was getting stars to fill their big gobs!!

Yes I agree, that’s exactly what’s happening! I felt a bit like, “Well encourage him to disagree if you value that and see Seann doesn’t feel comfortable doing so”. Maybe BG justifies it like “well he’s an adult he can look after himself”

BG is astute, he knows full well that Seann seeks approval from people and is afraid of conflict, like more than just disliking it. We only see a fraction of their time there and we can see that so it must be obvious to BG spending all day with him. To be dramatic about it, it was agonising that Seann was the only other camp member present when BG confronted Matt. It’s a bit of a self fulfilling prophecy like unfortunately in life characters like BG will alway find their way to the Seanns of the world.

I saw another user comment that it was odd when Seann went overboard praising Matt and politicians for their rhetorical tactics and I think that was Seann showing that people pleasing/conflict-anxious streak again. I do worry about him a bit, like I think he’ll be alright overall but he seems quite troubled mentally

I think it has as much to do with Matt’s own personality as being a politician. I used to work for a political party (not Matt’s btw!) and they weren’t all calm, no way! I only wish they had been! I got shouted at all the bloody time and had to undo the damage when a member had been rude to bloody constituents! 🙈 I know a few people who have worked under Matt though and he’s generally liked.

He started high school early, when he was 10 yrs old, and was bullied by the older kids (they were “hard on him” as he puts it). So he learnt early on to hide his vulnerabilities I suppose. I haven’t got much further than that with the podcast but you can see he’s basically the same on it as he is in the jungle.

The last trial he did alone, the one down in the grave… I think he really put a brave face on for that one but struggled more than he let on. I’ve admired him since then.

Why isn't the group chat about BG and what he did. Its same old same old. Matt bashing.

I don’t agree with what BG did but I think the difference is that he didn’t kill anyone and did his time in prison…
The actions Matt Hancock et al have taken (both surrounding covid and in general) has killed hundreds of thousands of people in this country and he + the Tories aren’t taking accountability for any of it…

BG is a knob, but there’s no point in people going to prison etc and rehabilitating to continue to be “cancelled”. He’s said repeatedly that he was on all kinds of drugs and is now clean so is obviously trying to change.
We haven’t seen Matt Hancock change his ways at all. Realistically, this PR stunt isn’t going to cut it for many people when he should be in jail lol

also, what BG did didn’t impact anyone in the camp. Of course you can ask questions if you wish but it’s nothing to do with anyone else tbh.
What MH did impacted EVERYONE so they are well within their rights to dislike and debate with him because his actions hurt them and the ones they love.

When Matt told the camp that he was looking for "a bit of forgiveness", I desperately wanted someone to ask him, "For what, exactly?"

I want to know which things he's supposedly sorry for and to actually hear him spell it out. I doubt it'd be sincere and realistically it's always going to be a case of too little, too late, but at least it'd be a bit less insulting than the empty gesture he offered the nation via IAC.

That conversation he had with Chris about fines showed he wasn’t really sorry IMO. It was like he couldn’t believe the idea that someone like him could possibly receive a fine for what he did
