Lots of mentions of Matt being a team player. Is he a
genuine team player though? Do sincerity and kind intentions even matter, as long as tasks get done and the team gets fed?
IMHO Matt's doing 'team play by numbers' i.e. just going through the motions...forced, not natural.
Yes, he's done stuff - many trials and won lots of stars - but it's a means to an end, purely for his own benefit. He definitely doesn't see himself as part of that team, nor does he even want to!
I'm certain he gives zero shits about his fellow campmates and their needs or feelings. He doesn't really have their backs, he's simply acting out what he thinks he needs to, to gain favour and change public perception and opinion, nothing more, and it's not coming from a good or sincere place!
I know they're all in there for personal gain and they're not all fussed about making friends for life (nor should they be) but some are a lot more genuine than others and seeing phoney Matt winning people over with his team player ruse is just hurting my brain!
