The point I’m making is they won’t tell the difference! And I imagine they’ll be saying why? You never make us dinner. She doesn't have to go into the gory details but she could use her words. "I'm not well, can you make dinner?"

How many kids has she got?? I thought she had twin boys and an older boy? To my knowledge young kids don’t get pip, they get dla until 16 then they apply for pip.I’m convinced the whole autism thing is about unlocking more cash. She is now applying for DLA because she wants help from the Family Fund, who only give money to families with severely disabled children. Once she unlocks that, she’s apparently going to apply for PIP. I’m not clear what her lifelong disability is that means she’s unable to work.
She’s right that many children get DLA before they receive a diagnosis. That’s because they won’t assess for eg ADHD for children until they’re at least 6. CAMHS is also massively overwhelmed in East Kent and the waiting time is at least 2 years. My child was on the SEN register from reception, was awarded DLA at 8 but not assessed/diagnosed with ASC until 10 because he is academically able. Despite that, he finds a lot of things very hard.
Given what she says her children are capable of and enjoy, I don’t think her child being awarded DLA is a certainty at all.
Oh and i just want to address something someone said earlier in the thread - autistic children are typically not as capable as neurotypical children of the same age. Many ND kids of 13 would find it really difficult to make simple meals or do the laundry or do self care. My child is getting a lot better at doing things for themself but is way behind a neurotypical child of the same age.

Everything she says is confusing.
if she gets uc and dla for two kids she’s not destitute, why is she begging all the time? I reckon she’s a gambling addict. Has to be something like that.
