Or just grow some spinach, it's the easiest thing to grow all year round.

Easy… for someone who wasn’t stupid enough to lose access to their back garden for 3 years.

Grow some spinach?! Come on SS live up to your name and be sensible here! Wasn’t the back garden off limits as it was akin to a jungle at one point?! 🤣

Posted at the same time. Great minds think alike 🤣

Clearly eldest buys takeaway so often because she never gets off her arse to cook for those boys. It’s so sad.

You can propagate loads of basil from one supermarket pot though. Could well work out cheaper than starting from seed and if the original dies off you get a pot to start off next year’s effort. (I kill parsley, every time.)

I was going with that idea and I'd also heard that if you pop one in the same pot as a tomato plant, it makes the toms taste extra special so that's a tomorrow job. I am never buying basil seeds again; agree tbh.

I know slimming world is a pyramid scheme and some of the concepts are stupid (troughing on pasta all day will not make you lose weight) but for a start for someone with limited knowledge of nutrition there could be worse options. My boyfriend was on it for a while and once he got away from trying to replace things he used to eat like for like (the high fi bars get spenny) and just found recipes he enjoyed it wasn't too bad. Some of the things I learnt to make I still do versions of now like pizza chicken and pulled pork.

That is genius. Can you tuck in a mozzarella ball, and water with balsamic vinegar? (See this, Saz, healthy food, dead caprese!)

I've said to Old Harold that we could do with the very same 🤣 Caprese giant couscous Sazzle, been having it for lunch this week. Not that bad for you at all.

To be fair, I did WW (which was the 'no count' thing at the time, so similar to SW) and it worked really well but mainly as I was in my 20's and had been living on lasagne and chips. I've still remembered a few bits and bobs from that time that I still use now and again. 'French bread pizza' on half a ciabatta with some home made oven chips was something of a revelation as a 20 something with a bad diet.

In other words I’ve always fed my kids tit and never bothered with a sleep routine

I can’t believe I’m actually saying this, but to be fair some people do just have permanent bags under their eyes. My dad had them and was so self conscious about them he had cosmetic surgery, my sister has inherited them and hates them too. She says it’s annoying people constantly asking if she’s tired as she takes it to mean “you look like tit love”.

All that said, let’s be honest it’s a 99% chance this is irrelevant to the Goodwin clan 😅

Thread title from Page 3? Has it ever been known?
Harold ShitMint?

I can’t even keep mint fresh/green in the fridge for a few days, let alone grow it.

It's a bastard. 'It grows like mad', they say. Not on my watch it doesn't, lying bastards.
