Poor boy, not in front of the TV but basically facing a blank wall with no interaction from anyone during his meal. I know it's not easy always sitting down with your child during mealtimes, but I can't see her ever just sitting down with him for 5 minutes and not complaining about the "carnage" he's probably like that to get attention from his caregivers because he never seems to get much.

I thought this about G. I'd rather see him staring at the TV than a blank wall! Why doesn't she put the chair the other side of the table so at least he's looking out at the room.
I really make an effort sit with my kids even if I'm not eating ill just have a cuppa and sit at the table with them, or potter about the kitchen whilst they are eating.

I saw this and thought exactly the same. Poor poor boy 😭 why does she think this is normal and okay?

Completely agree! I’m in a similar situation to Shan, with solo parenting while our partners are away, but I’d never leave my daughter to eat by herself. It’s actually lovely sitting down and having a little chat while she’s eating and we normally just eat together to save time anyway. I just want to give George a huge cuddle as nobody seems to care about him!

I genuinely can't believe how unsafe she is

  1. Leaves a 2 year old downstairs on his own why she's fannying around getting things ready for a bath and running said bath (say 15 minutes?)
  2. Leaves him alone in the bath whilst she fannies on
  3. No stairgate upstairs
  4. Leaves oven on whilst out
Is she genuinely thick or what? I just don't get it

Ah in fairness to her what is she supposed to do if she's alone. I don't think there is anything wrong with leaving a 2 year old with toys whilst you run their bath, or hang washing out or whatever.
Although that was the most boring video I've ever watched and I totally love how G didn't want to play ball. She clearly wanted to come in, cuddle her baby and play outside and G was like nah mom!

That picture makes me sad 😔

Take him upstairs with her. You can't leave a 2 year old alone downstairs especially with a dog and especially being a boy! As a mum to both boys and girls....boys cannot be left unattended for 2 minutes before they are up to no good!
