Watching the newest episode and it's just hit me how ridiculous the whole twin experiment story was a few years back. I don't even think I thought it at the time
 
I’m watching from the earliest point you can watch all episodes and it starts at 2012 so I wanted to share some of my thoughts.

I miss Mitzeee 😢

The uni students are the most pointless addition to this era. Scott, Annalise, Jodie, Rob etc. None of them add anything to the show but back then it was mainly based on students so I guess it makes sense seeing them do mundane things. Leanne - not sure if she is a student or not I think she is but I’ve already googled when she leaves the show because she’s so bleeping IRRITATING. She looks a little like my sister in law so that is probably why I dislike her.

Watching present day and past Joel is crazy. New Joel is so opposite to old Joel and sometimes I do find it unbelievable new Joel won’t talk to Warren because he tried to kill Ste when he was literally the double of Warren back in the day. I guess he found God though.

Amy (Ste’s ex) how did she get away with talking like that on tv. She doesn’t pronounce words properly and her sentence just all jumbled into one it’s weird.

Maddie - witch. Why is she such a bully, do we get a storyline soon that she’s misunderstood and just insecure.

Jackie McQueen - I wish she would come back full time!

I could keep going on but one final thing, there will NEVER be another character like Brendan Brady. Emmett J Scanlan is such a good actor I absolutely love the way he plays Brendan. So unhinged.

Anyone else watching old shows? I would love someone to talk to about it as you can see 🤣

Jackie is a queen!! Hollyoaks would be 100% better with her back in it

I HATED Leanne and had forgotten about her until you mentioned her! So irritating!

Joel has had such a turnover that it took me a few months (probably years) to realise it was actually the same character and not just a second character with the same name.

I always hated the student crowd, can’t remember the last time I liked any of them.

Jackie McQueen is Hollyoaks Royalty but so is Amy! Wash your mouth out, I won’t hear a bad word against this legendary character. I still hate the way they cemented her death by that guy from Blue.

Don’t worry. Maddie gets her comeuppance!!

The fact they altered all of Cheryl’s past to make them half brother and sister for it to makes sense where Emmett is from, shows they knew they had someone special!

Amy’s voice annoyed me SO MUCH that I could never warm to the character. Nuuuhhhhh Sarah, you dunt currrrrr 🙄🙄

Also, was Ste always Ste? I’m certain Amy was pregnant by a boy called Billy, but was it the same actor and they just styled it out?
 
Yet another random departure I assume of Warren's mum. I guess "trip to tuscany" is better than just a voicecall having said nothing to anyone 🤣

God this incest storyline is becoming harder and harder to watch. Its really jarring against the other lighthearted storylines especially, anyone know when it will end ?!

It’s been making me feel sick for ages, I do appreciate the storyline for how interesting it is and the actors involved and how well they’re performing it, but it’s putting me off the show and has done for a while, I’ve left loads of comments on here saying I don’t know how much more I can watch of it.
 
why is e4 behind? I watched todays episode last week on demand
