this is what threw me and one of the storylines that made me dig into the history and realise Ste wasn’t Amy’s father and that Amy and Lucas weren’t biological siblings

I can’t keep up but I thought I missed an episode after reading a “catch up” on the Metro site, but what they wrote was featured in todays episode whereas I thought they were talking about the previous episode

Is Amy not Lucas’ biological mum then? If she is then they are biological siblings!

Unless Amy isn’t Lucas’s biological mum then yes they are biological siblings.

The fact they altered all of Cheryl’s past to make them half brother and sister for it to makes sense where Emmett is from, shows they knew they had someone special!

The uni students are the most pointless addition to this era. Scott, Annalise, Jodie, Rob etc. None of them add anything to the show but back then it was mainly based on students so I guess it makes sense seeing them do mundane things. Leanne - not sure if she is a student or not I think she is but I’ve already googled when she leaves the show because she’s so bleeping IRRITATING. She looks a little like my sister in law so that is probably why I dislike her.

Watching present day and past Joel is crazy. New Joel is so opposite to old Joel and sometimes I do find it unbelievable new Joel won’t talk to Warren because he tried to kill Ste when he was literally the double of Warren back in the day. I guess he found God though.

Amy (Ste’s ex) how did she get away with talking like that on tv. She doesn’t pronounce words properly and her sentence just all jumbled into one it’s weird.

Maddie - witch. Why is she such a bully, do we get a storyline soon that she’s misunderstood and just insecure.

Jackie McQueen - I wish she would come back full time!

I could keep going on but one final thing, there will NEVER be another character like Brendan Brady. Emmett J Scanlan is such a good actor I absolutely love the way he plays Brendan. So unhinged.

Anyone else watching old shows? I would love someone to talk to about it as you can see 🤣

Emmett J Scanlan is an outstanding actor. Have you watched "Kin" by any chance? Amazing 2 series, he is a main character in it. I can't wait for a series 3.

Is Rex Blue? Or just works for them? He's far too young to be actual Blue surely? Did anyone else pick up on Jeremy speaking to young Sophie about the flowers he was planting, and Jeremy said something like - "that flower is called Blue butterfly, I seem to be planting a lot of those recently" clue, re Blue maybe???
 
I remember the actress playing Maddie scowling and looking furious at a Soap Awards whenever Hollyoaks didn’t win something. I remember thinking, hmm, maybe there wasn’t that much acting skills needed for her to portray this character!

God what the hell am I remembering 😂 I will keep everyone updated if I ever find a country house death or maybe I’ve already missed it. I thought Silas was involved in it too. Who knows 🤣🤣🤣

I watched half of one episode but I was getting so confused who was who. Apart from him obviously 😂 I watched him in The Deceived on Netflix where he played a Uni Professor and he was good in that too. He’s in a few of the Harlan Coben shows too, should have bigger parts IMO 🤣 I will give Kin another chance though thank you!
