You know, I was wondering why she'd want to go to Asia again so soon after her first trip to Asia considering she hasn't been to a lot of other places yet, but now I'm thinking their mutual friend may have let it slip that Charlie was going on a trip to Asia and Holly thought she might try to run into him with her new bf. Asia is a vast continent, but it's weird that she went to the same places she's already been to recently and around the time Charlie was there too.
I remember when she got back from Spain with Charlie, Dan and Jess she was saying that they're planning a next big trip together. I'm guessing they were planning to go to Asia, but since Holly got with Angelo and split from Charlie, the trip was cancelled and they just went separately. I don't think it was any other reason than just both parties wanting to go to Asia, so they're doing that, just not together.

She doesn't seem to be working much either. Was more interested in monkeys and vegetables than the history of the temple.
She said on her Instagram that they are going back to their regular routine so I suspect that these videos showing them doing more cultural things are an attempt to silence the critics. Their usual routine of eating bland food and running will recommence!

We probably will get a productivity video then

That's a possibility, but to me it still doesn't make sense that she'd visit the same exact places she went to with Matthew, especially because Asia is a massive continent. She had already canceled all her bookings when she first started dating Angelo, so even if she'd originally planned to go on a trip with the other group and then decided to take a trip separately with her bf, why not go to say Japan this time? To be fair, Holly isn't known for making sense, so you could be right

She was probably hoping she would get a lot more views then she is so then she could get gifted experiences.

I wonder what her plan is now, or if she has a back up plan if the whole holly gabrielle digital nomad thing doesn't work out.

Everything is based on her brand ie; tutoring, merchandise, youtube.

Her fans have probably grown up now and doing things with degrees they earned

100% the case for me! I graduated from my Bachelor’s 2 years ago, realized Holly isn’t all that and now her videos, ED and her obsessive productivity just give me the ick. I’m about the same age as Holly, but it feels like I’m watching a teenager who’s desperately holding onto a life that isn’t there any longer.

Not too sure about them booking a hotel room, not even to stay overnight. Housekeeping have had to clean that room, bathroom and change all the sheets and regardless of how long you stay in the room for they have to go in and do it all again to make sure it’s safe/sanitary for the next person after you.
Didn’t they pack minimally? Surely they can carry 2 backpacks around for a few hours. Aren’t they supposed to be super strong gym protein bros?

I haven't watched her video, however
I have booked a hotel before for a day as my flight wasn't leaving till 11pm at night And the original place I was staying wasn't available. (Was a villa )

If I'm paying the rate for 1 night I don't see it as an issue.

Reading this post makes me wonder about a couple of things. I agree that Holly's behaviour ins controversial and she is quite boring. BUT, is it a bad thing not to be deeply interested in the history of the place you are visiting? Or not to want to visit every single monument or museum? I mean, ideally we would all be very interested in learning about everything, but sometimes there are things that just doesn't interest us.

For example, I am not so extreme as Holly but I like the outdoors, nature and I love hiking and camping so my holidays always revolve around that. I travel to different places to see new landscapes, new vegetation, see new geology, weather phenomenons. I am also very interested in landscape photography so I like going to high places and shoot sunrises/sunsets. I travel far for this and sometimes, if I am in a new country I will spend a couple of days in the major nearest city and will visit the sites and read a little bit about their culture but I dont go extremely deep in the history.

I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to do different things, but they're doing nothing cultural, including any research into the places they're in. They could run and eat in mall food courts in London. It feels like she's gone to SEA for clickbait.
