I mean, it’s quite evident from the way she edited it.

Petition for Holly's parents to be less toxic to her like wtf? I had to stop watching the video because it made me feel so uncomfortable.

I mean - mistakes happen, everyone makes mistakes, and Holly did get on the right train in the end! It's not like her parents had to find her and bring her home or anything, she managed! Why on earth would you scold, mock, ridicule and berate your adult child for making a silly little mistake like this?! What is wrong with these people?? I found it especially gross how they kept doubting how Holly ever managed to survive on her own during her Australia travels, trying to cast doubt on the only period in Holly's life where she was away from her parents' influence.

And oh god I feel so bad for Holly who clearly feels the need to 'play along' by putting herself down, ranting about her mistake and engaging in this weird self-deprecating humor where she pretends that she is an idiot who is incapable of living on her own :/ These are not healthy family dynamics at all. No wonder Holly's self-esteem is tit. Who knows how much of this toxic tit is going on behind the scenes. And if Holly really reads here (idk if she does) then Hi Holly, please move out. You'll feel better in the long run, I promise.
 
This is why Holly needs to live somewhere else. It's perfectly ok to make mistakes - we've all been there! What is not ok is for a family to tease, announce it to other siblings, berate and ridicule, her mum's facial expressions caught on camera - she was really exasperated. Why? Holly eventually got on the right train. If she was in a houseshare with supportive people, they'd probably laugh about the times they themselves caught the wrong train, then figure out dinner plans.

100% this, her mum is a toxic bleep, you can just tell. I feel like she has such a sly side to her whenever she features in videos as well.
 
I have done it, consulted google maps to rectify my journey and told my dad later and gotten a slagging. I still get reminded when we drive to Dublin about how I nearly sent my mum back to Limerick (near enough to our starting point) over 10 years ago because I couldn’t read a sign properly, the motorway has been built since and that mistake can’t be made again. Independence is making those stupid mistakes.
 
for me none of that made sense , she was "on the phone" to her sister, in a phone that was claerly not pn a call? and asking her not to tell her parents, who then knew when she got home.......
Honest;y if i had raised adults who couldn't deal with any aspect of real life I would be disappointed
 
She needs independence.
I knew about her but didn't follow until Australia, now I unfollowed her cause it's like following a teenager. (I'm her age)
She really needs to experience and meet people, she grew so much in Australia but now she is taking some steps back

Yes! I was once in charge of navigation on a road trip and got my family on a ring road going the wrong way, only realising maybe 20 mins after turning. Its been more than a decade, but they'll never forget 😂
 
Today's vid thoughts (not particularly interesting)
How many times is Holy going to film herself turn an alarm off, roll around in bed, then whisper in the bathroom about how early it is and how tired she is?! What's the point? One of the titles of her threads was Groundhog Day and it's so apt!
Shot of her feet in the shower was a bit weird but okay.
As per usual she will take any possible excuse to film herself in just a bra...
Her dad asks; "are you going to eat that?" RE: avocado toast, a very popular and well-known breakfast. Weird food-shamey family continues...
"You guys tell me you don't know how to season my food" lolololol
Her avocado socks are cute I'm going to admit.

So help me, I would not live in a house where the parents dictate how you shower. I get people want to save money/water and don't want bathroom hoggers, but having a rule so that everyone has to turn the water off whilst they're soaping up etc. Nope. No. No. No.
