Holly Gabrielle #5 Still lives like a nun, doesn't allow herself any fun

Holly has just put up a video recreating one of Ruby Granger's morning routines. It's a school one from a few years ago. I don't think it was anything other than a demonstration that she can still fit in her old school uniform.

She tries to come across as self-deprecating but it just looks like a piss-take

Haven't watched her video but the Instagram post of her posing in her school uniform is giving me weird vibes
 
Yeah it sure is weird. Though my personal theory is that a lot of the ""sexy"" weirdness in Holly's insta pics comes from the fact that she frequently does photoshoots with Emily and I guess that's just Emily's idea of good posing.

There was no weird sexiness in the video itself, thank god. I think Holly's only comment on her outfit was that she looked like a boy in it while her hair was in a bun; then she proceeded to make several very tight braids instead of her usual tight bun. At least she's changing it up I guess?

Also I kinda got a blast out of Holly struggling to complete some of the more nonsensical things Ruby had in her routine, like reading a book while eating or that weird wash basin thing. xD

I wonder what Ruby thinks of the video lol. She hasn't commented on it as far as I can see?

Ohhh I did not know that they met up! Now you've sent me on a youtube viewing spree haha. I already find it hilarious that they both made vlogs about their meetup but while Ruby named hers "At the theatre with Holly Gabrielle", Holly chose to go with "WHAT I EAT IN A DAY VEGAN IN LONDON A DAY IN MY LIFE VLOG WITH RUBY GRANGER". Clearly the food issue once again took centre stage lol.

And yes I agree, it doesn't seem like they're close nowadays or else Holly probably would've at least talked a little bit more about Ruby or said sth nice about her instead of jumping straight into the morning routine. Then again this is Holly "I don't talk to the other people in my research group" Gabrielle so who knows.
 
So we finally got an update video on what Holly is going to do now after her Master's: She won't do a Ph.D. because she feels that's not her path. Instead, she is going to do youtube full-time, focusing on the ByHollyG channel. She says her long-term goal is to become a David Attenborough-like figure.

I honestly don't know how I feel about this - thoughts?

I just watched the new video and honestly she didn't share much about new plans, other than what you mentioned. I thought she'll tell us if she's planning to move out or stay in family home. Maybe about exploring some new interests now that she has more time, focus more on social life etc.
It's good that she'll focus more on what she wants and stop trying to meet other people's expectations (I feel like her mum really had a lot of influence on her habits and choices)

She will channel all her productivity obsession and time into making repetitive YouTube videos while falling down further down her exercise addiction/orthorexia/anorexia rabbit hole.
She's not creative enough to be a full time youtuber, and her life is also too boring for that.
And she will continue to live at home because she won't challenge herself in any way that would help her personal development. She only likes intellectual and physical challenges.

yeh I think for someone like her doing yt full time is not a good idea, she needs to get a job and work with other people to have some influence from outside her family
 
I think at the very least she needs to move out and have her own place if she can. I am excited to see what she does with science communication. I’m a microbiology student in the US and I’ve always had an interest in educating/informing people about science bc I think it’s really important. But I hope Holly can find a way to not work herself to death trying to do YouTube full time.

I mean David Attenborough has his faults...but he doesn't spend all his time making money off posting thinspo, and carrying on when this is pointed out.
