She's a wannabe. Sure she sang (badly) in Box of Light when she was a kid but that's all gone now. Sure she's squawking in Sunny Bones these days but I don't see any real effort going in there.

She is all about the paid promotions and TMI sex and food and beer these days. Not very edgy or alt or rock chick at all - sorry Helen!

Literally the only rock bands she ever speaks of are the original bigger ones - for someone who's into the alternate scene, you'd think she'd make an effort to speak more about her music tastes, or go to gigs, or even share what she's listening to on Spotify on her monthly roundups. If she's going to cling onto the edgy/alternate scene for her "niche", she could at least make more of an effort to stay engaged in it. I hate to say that someone is a poser because this isn't primary school - but that's literally all it is. Clinging on to a persona, whereas some other alternative youtubers make an effort to get involved in the scene they hold onto.
 
Her download vlogs are absolute shite too.

half effort with everything. You love hiking? Show us routes you’ve found, strava records, trying different terrains and not focusing on just how it looks in a photo.

music lover? Post playlists, new band discoveries, a video on the history of bands you love and how they’ve influenced you.

this is content to make with zero cost and unlimited options. But no, it’s just easier to get photos for the gram and stick on a band tee from urban outfitters and make another asos haul.
I’m so bleeping over influencer culture.

It would not surprise me if she went to Glasto next year.

Her going to London to get her hair done has really infuriated me that I have now blocked seeing any content from her on. Since shielding since mid-March I haven’t been able to visit the hairdressers which is a 2 minute walk from me. Then seeing her gallivanting to London wearing no mask during her appointment is just absolutely ridiculous. On top of the whole nose picking / admitting to not washing hands, etc etc. Didn’t she have a mate that opened a salon near her? Couldn’t she have waited a bit more or visited someone local?

I do understand that some people have a need to feel like life is getting back to some normality or to a rhythm, but she is acting like the past 4 months never happened and the whole “oh I forgot to wear a mask” is such a pathetic excuse.

Also - I find that her subs hasn’t gone down or up (if you check on social blade) - is this a glitch or does this seem odd? Surely it would fluctuate? Especially as some point out her views are low.

It really wouldn’t surprise me if she bought subs for her channel & followers for her social media. You see how many she has, yet look at the engagement from her viewers and subs - there’s really not much there for her size.

It’s hilarious that she took a TikTok “masterclass” because she had semi “successful” video.... This is in the midst of TikTok’s controversy and is under consideration to be banned in some countries. There’s thousands of better creators on there who self taught and naturally have talent - all she does is copy Sammi Jefcoate. 🤣
 
Long time lurker - BUT on the Band’s topic she’s clueless! It really pissed me off that she left download early last year and was all “who even are Tool!?” A massive band (one of my favourites). It’s alright babe we only waited 13 years for a new album, but you keep listening to that one Guns N Roses song you know :rolleyes:

I’m not a huge Tool fan, I love A Perfect Circle though, I know how much of a big deal Tool and Maynard are so her saying that really cemented that she just likes the “cool” classic bands to be on trend.

Love APC and Puscifer - but yeah 100% she just likes ‘cool’ classic style. Though now I wonder if she just likes whatever band any fast fashion brand stick on a tee. :unsure:

You mean the bands that you can buy the tshirt in Primark or ASOS. (Saying that, I did once buy tshirt with The Strokes logo in Primark so I’m guilty 😂)
I miss the days where you could only buy rock T-shirt’s in a market or after the gig from a dodgy street seller!

Saaaaaame. Those ones they printed on 'fruit of the loom' tees that were half the price of the merch at gigs 😂

I'm an adult with money now so I buy the legit stuff but I also gig less because I'm in my thirties now 😂

She reminds me of one of those people who claim something for their own. “I’m so original, I must be the only girl to ever love Guns n Roses, aren’t I alternative?” Just... shut up! 😂
 
I wonder what her family think of her & if they watch her videos?

If they see her excessive spending habits, boyfriend after boyfriend, the over eating/drinking, no shits given of the seriousness of Covid & to be so desperate for content she has to whip the ol’dildo collection out for the world to see.

They’re probably ashamed to be related to her

I may be wrong, as I'm not sure how Social Blade works, but I know from a recent YouTube video (I can't for the life of me remember who, so apologies for not giving credit) they mentioned that YouTube sub count will now only round up to the nearest number so you can't watch subscribers plummet (unless you're the creator). They mentioned this was because of the drama that went down with James Charles, where people were constantly posting his subs going down.
 
It makes me laugh how much of a gatekeeper she is about band T shirts. She said before it annoys her if people get band T shirts if they don't love the band on the T shirt. Who actually gives a duck? Who is the more pathetic person, the one wearing a T shirt with a band on that they aren't into, getting on with their life - or histrionic Helen, spying someone wearing a band tee and getting triggered at the thought that they might not love the band. Who is she to police things like that? Yet another way she thinks she's "not like the other girls".
