Exposure of the baby scams above all would ruin her. Now that all bets are off I hope there's some good investigative journalism. There's been little if any so far as the press have been tiptoeing around them from day one.

Perhaps Hazzno is self-isolating in his basement, mumbling to himself and waiting for news of Prince Philip's passing so that he can then safely make a mercy dash to his bedside.

A relative of mine works in BBC radio and they’ve had the “Category One Royal Obitiary” Procedures circulated to all staff today as they are on stand by.

I think they would wait until Monday to “announce” even if PP were to die tonight or tomorrow though 👀
 
Hello...emergent lurker here (another one!) but I just wanted to say that when someone dies in hospital a next of kin/close relative needs to attend to identify the body and sign paperwork for the funeral directors. The person cannot be moved from the hospital until that’s been done. That might be why Charles was there.

God, sorry for such a morbid first post ☹😥 but I thought it worth mentioning. Chris Ship does seem to be following events closely so he may have had a head’s up.

I am certain normal programming will be interrupted for the rest of the night & possibly the next day as this will be a big, big news story.

I hope Phillip has more days with us, but it doesn’t feel likely somehow.

did notice she too opted for a white dress... although to be honest she looked like she had thrown an anorak over her cotton nightgown.... which was 1000% me for 2 weeks after my kids were born. At least she ran a brush through her hair... unlike smeggy. Also unlike meggy, she didn't feel the need to apply makeup for a red carpet presentation in a castle..... much less applying makeup with a trowel for the event. Nope - straightforward, outdoor, in front of a hedge.... Megsy had to be in front of a Turner, a Constable and a Caravaggio. Fuckers

Not sure, they would probably announce tomorrow - Boris is doing a massive announcement about lockdown easing on Monday.

It can mean either
a) there is nothing to worry about, it is all routine or
b) protocol for the death of a member of the royal family is now in place

Re the 10pm announcement- twitter thinks its a usa or nicola sturgeon announcement.

If it was the news we all dread, it is likely to be made 11am to 6pm to allow the media to announce and report it properly.
 
I know Prince Philip is very elderly and he's had his moments, but it doesn't look very good at the moment, which is very sad. He has been very loyal to our nation for the vast majority of his life and supported the Queen for over seventy years. We owe him a debt of gratitude and I hope he realises how appreciated he is. This is a very worrying time for the nation, the Commonwealth and for his own family.

Chris Ship had a tweet saying Charles had not returned to Highgrove this evening, but is instead staying at Clarence House. When I went to view the original tweet it said it had been deleted.

I think this is a really good example of how this situation DID NOT NEED TO HAPPEN.
At the end of the day objectively speaking what Andrew is alleged to have done is faaar worse than Harry and Meghan seeking a life outside the RF

BUT

they have made things 10x worse on themselves by being snippy in statements, trying to force the Queens hand, preaching privacy while practising commerciality, and using Omid bleeping Scabies to drip feed need to the media. It could have been so easy to duck off to America quietly and live a simple life away from the media. They’ve fucked it.
 
Isn't it astonishing that with her 576 PR companies working for her (OK, 15 people or whatever it is [over to you baguette bubba]) smeggy ignored them all and immediately put out that astonishingly tone deaf response yesterday? BOOM! In like Flynn.
You just know that as soon as she saw the palace statement she was on her keyboard like a whirling dervish determined to get the last word before any of her PR folk tried to rein her in. That's the real her. Bitter as vinegar and thinking her tit doesn't smell.
Hazzno should be mortified, but he's too busy saying goodbye to his pretty uniforms and that braid ... oh that gorgeous gold braid that granny gifted him after the wedding when he threw a strop that Wills' uniform was more bling than his. 😭The uniforms will be useless now, saturated in his tears and smelling of bitterness and victimhood.
He'll put on a show of solidarity with "my wife" but somewhere deep inside the little seed of resentment that she's the one who lost him everything is being nurtured and will grow. When he loses his tit in a year or two it will be spectacular.

Oh and perhaps we can start draft the correction to his "end of era" tweet now so it is ready the nanosecond he posts anything about Big Phiw
