I'm with you on the idea Megz started pretty much everything with her divorce financial settlement in mind. Most of her negotiating will be around her lifestyle expectations and Frogmore meant she can have a go at asking for a 7 bedroomed property near London on top of her California base. I'm interested in the immediate clap back from the Harkles via Omid that they still 'own' Frogmore...
I honestly don't know how Smeggys mouthpiece is still employed by Harper's. He knows less than the average person in the street about Royal protocols.

All he does is tit stir on behalf of the Harkles and allows the sugars to abuse the rest of the royal family. Why is he still allowed to call himself a royal reporter?

It's obvious that no member of the family (bar the Harkles) would spit on him if he was on fire, let alone ever speak to him.

Just a theory but I’ve been curious about M’s death grip on Frogmore from the beginning of Megxit and I wonder if it has to do with the eventual / inevitable divorce saga. UK courts appear (to me) to be much more subjective regarding divorce requirements / settlements than here in the US, especially concerning high profile divorces. Based on M’s legal expertise on privacy / copyright laws, she most likely assumed that claiming Frogmore as her residence in the UK would entitle her to proceed with filing for divorce in the UK when the time comes. I have no clue about UK divorce laws, but residency is crucial when filing for divorce here in the US.
I thought that Meghan was intent on residency in California to ensure the best divorce settlement and they only have to be resident for 6 months.
In the UK it would be tricky because the Crown owns all the royal residences and palaces.

I might be wrong but I thought she would only get half of Harry's personal wealth plus an allowance for Archiedoll. There's no way that they would allow her to make a claim on a UK property owned by the Crown.

Being in California means that she's likely to wrestle the Montecito mansion off him in a divorce. I look forward to the day when she bleeds him dry 😁

I am pretty sure that Smeggy won't be invited back to Frogmore. Ever.

Wasn't it Eugenie and Jack's wedding that Smeggy tried to upstage/make all about HER with the pregnancy announcement? I'm not
a grudge-holder, but I wouldn't easily forgive that. Like hell would she ever darken my door, if she'd done that to me!!

Wishful thinking on my part but hopefully her US passport has been flagged by UK immigration and she and her ‘I’m pregnant let me flick my coat to prove it’ will be sent back to the US should she attempt to reenter the UK. I’m good with her being stuck here in the US, I’m just waiting to snark at her clothes and the IRS / divorce sagas.

M is all about the cash, good luck to her trying to convert HMTQ’s property or pry a quid out of C’s pocket into her wallet. And most of us here have concluded that the opposite is true when Scooby speaks on behalf of M.

That would be gold wouldn't it, in she swans on a private plane somewhere only for the immigration officers to say 'computer says no, so turn that vehicle around and duck right off again' 🤣😘

they're both ungrateful BIG C***s. many people lost jobs and finding ways to pay mortgage and they're here claiming ownership of Frogmore. it's not like Eugenie is in desperate need of a place to stay.... i don't think they have power or position here in the UK to "open up" and offer Frogmore to Eugenie... the only thing smeggy is opening up is her chicken legs to the next man richer than hazzo :ROFLMAO:

I think after yesterday, we may have to reconsider the use of the word 'chicken' anywhere near these two 🤣🤣

By all accounts, so is Hazno! 🤢🤣

Oh my god, I'm crying here! 🤣 WTF? It was cold out the fridge too! Not that it makes a difference like.

' it was on the table and he was doing the sex to it' and then at the end ' he's not putting his whatsit nowhere near me now though'. 🤣

I think that's the problem love, he was desperate!

😂😂

When Sarah Ferguson divorced Andrew she 'reportedly agreed to be paid $20,000 a year from the royal family and given $660,000 to buy a new house. In addition, she is said to have received around $1.8 million to start trust funds for Beatrice and Eugenie as well as another $462,000 in cash and an agreement that Prince Andrew would pay for their daughters’ education.'

If thats true it doesn't sound like much and probably not the sort of payoff Smeggy is hoping to get when she ditches Hazno.

You’re giving her credit where none is due, the laws concerning privacy, copyright, divorce, etc play no part in her scheme, just her using the words privacy, copyright, divorce, etc are considered enough in her mind and the world should bow down and be grateful for her kindness (see what I did there) in our lives.

M (and most likely H) can’t deny thanks to her own PR that they are residing in the US. In reality, that means her divorce saga should be filed here in the US given length of residency. But as this is M and she knows all there is to know about law, rules, protocol, etc, I wouldn’t be surprised if she files for divorce in the UK. In her mind, married a UK citizen + married in UK = divorce in UK. Yes, it makes no sense to the rest of us but when has anything this chick’s done made sense in the real world.

Back on tract, in the US typically each party to a divorce is entitled to half of the property acquired during the length of the marriage. In M’s case, she would not be granted any of H’s money / property accumulated prior to marriage. If she’s awarded the mansion in Montecito and it’s already mortgage free, she might need to pay him half of what it’s worth or that half will be considered in the final settlement. If they don’t own the house outright, H will not be required by the court to pay the mortgage, maintenance, staff, that’s all on her once the divorce is granted. Child support is a given and typically based on income and not the number of children (I kid you not). Alimony is rarely awarded here in the US, might get a lump sum and then best get a job or remarry if that’s not enough.

Welcome to my world 🤣

They will demand - not ask, demand - to stay at Windsor Castle and then kick up a fuss about HMTQ being so rayciss when their demand is refused. They'll then portray themselves as poor homeless victims of a cold-hearted wealthy family with multiple properties but no one offering them shelter, now that Frogmore has gone to Eugenie and Jack and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester have moved into their old property in Kensington Palace.

Anything to continue the victimhood narrative.
What happened to the rumour they are buying a £3m property in the Cotswolds (nr Soho farmhouse)? They spent a lot of time in the Cotswolds in a rented house and I'm sure Hazno would like a place of his own herehere, even if she doesn't .

We don’t do royalty divorce settlements here but will gladly dump your tea in a harbor and fire our guns at your backsides while you paddle back to England 🤣

Interesting article. They assume he paid $3mil

when all he did pay was

IIRC the house needed new heating and a new electrical system. That was necessary.

Unnecessary was the conversion into a single home for the Dumbartons, the new floors, kitchen, a 50.000 Pounds green water boiler, vegan paint, swimming yoga floor...

So, the question remains: Did he really pay back $3mil? Or did he just pay what was 'necessary' and everyone just assumed he paid the full sum??? Unless I see an official statement from some government body, I call bullshit and go on thinking they cleverly played with words and just paid the electrician.
When Andrew moved into the Windsor Lodge the deal was that it is still owned by the Crown but he payed the Reno costs (i think). Maybe its similar.....
