Re Christmas at Sandringham - the papers make it up as they go along to get clicks.
They contradict themselves often as well.

Even if we see all of the family and in-laws walking in and out of the Church service, we won't know who is having lunch (and/or staying over) at Sandringham.

Unless of course the press photographers hide in the bushes to snap cars coming and going.
The reporting of the Royal’s christmas has always been made up by the papers. There were stories every year in great detail about how they were sitting down after Church to Roast Norfolk turkey and all the trimmings. I think it was Mike Tindall who said the other year they have a buffet🤣

CDAN is extremely informative tonight:

Daily Mail
"The Prince and Princess of Wales will celebrate Christmas at Sandringham with King Charles and the rest of the royal family.....

"... they will join srnior members of The Firm for the annual Christmas Day Service at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham on December 25.

"Charles, who is currently in Sandringham, is 'delighted' that the whole family will be together for the holidays - with the monarch reportedly overseeing the planning himself.

"One insider said: 'The King is embracing the Christmas period already and really getting into the spirit. Staff who have seen him this week remarked how happy and healthy he was looking.'

"Charles and Camilla are reportedly spending the weekend at the Norfolk estate, with one source explaining how Charles is 'enjoying time outdoors' as he continues his cancer treatment.

"Charles was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer earlier this year."

...................
D Mail also reports that Catherine will attend the Amir's lunch at BP. Every day it's different, as the last report said that she'd "head home" after taking the Amir + 1 to be greeted by Chuck at BP, so who knows.

It is all guess work by the media and the so called royal experts.
They know nothing because most of the rr have been shut out after their appalling treatment of Catherine this year.

Saw some footage of KC3 on the news during his Oz/Samoa tour, or may be an outing after in the UK.
He looked terrible. I was shocked. KC3 had lines down his face as wide as the Grand Canyon and pale.

Would different camera lighting or harsh sun show up more detail.

I wonder if he looks healthier and a bit red after blood transfusions.
Is there such a thing as oxygen therapy. That might explain it too.

Thread title by me @Chita

Thanks all for voting for it.

Old thread -

amongst other things we discussed
the kids,
her creased clothes,
the polo programme on Netflix and how many dislikes the trailer for it got,
we blamed Ashley Cole,
we discussed the odious soon to be ex-Archbishop of Canterbury.

As a year comes to a close I tend to get a bit down. Eeyore comes and sits on me and dwells on all the crap that has happened in the last year.
It becomes a battle to focus on the positive.
I also miss the posters who used to contribute regularly to this thread.
I hope they are all doing ok and stopped posting just because they were sick of the same old same old from the Harkles not because they became ill.
I send love to them all, especially if they are ill.
Hey Chita! I just wanted to say that I appreciate you and the community here! I used to post a lot and now I don't, but literally, as you say, it's because H&M are in their Boring era, and I can't think of much to say. Let's hope the invisikids are found out soon!

African Parks is at it again.

Imagine if this was one of Prince William's charities?

I saw something on a TV show that was food for thought in relation to all the African Parks' stories. In the story, it is mentioned that people are being systematically harassed and driven off their land by the so-called people who have their interests at heart. The reality is that the do-gooders have only their own interests at heart and want to get the people relocated so they can develop the area for tourism and/or some type of industrial usage. If I put on my tin hat, I see African Parks doing this and a relationship with Prince Harry and Travalyst and his pursuit of the IPP status. IPP would give him information about real time events in a region. This is information useful to those who want to develop or monetize a particular region and/or country. The so-called conservationists will flip the land into the hands of the eco-friendly green developers who will be building an eco-freiendly green resort and offering it to people traveling. I see a younger, too much money and too little sense demographic flying in on their carbon emitting private planes to stay at places like this. They all will be patting one another on the back, smug with the knowledge that they are doing the right thing by staying at eco-friendly green resorts. Of course there will be no thoughts about the people who used to live there.

This photo was taken when she had a "glam squad"

Worst. Glam. Squad. Ever.

She reminds me of aunt Sally in worzel gummidge.

I absolutely agree with an assisted dying law. Some of the people I work with are in a pitiful state. No quality of life whatsoever, but at the moment we drag them on to the very bitter end whether they want it or not. It’s downright cruel.
I absolutely agree with you I know it won't be available for the poor souls who have to resort to jumping from high buildings or laying their heads on the railway track but it's a step in the right direction. If someone is fixated on doing it there ought to be a place for them to find understanding without needing to travel to the Netherlands.

In Oz we have voluntary assisted dying laws in all states now.
The territories don't at the moment.
I think the ACT has approved the law and will come into effect next year.

The NT had something in place between 1996 to 1997 but it was annulled by the federal government so not sure how they can get that rescinded and a new bill put forward for that territory.

I do not understand why anyone believes that Jenny Bond knows what is happening.

She doesn't. None of them do. Doing the 'Royal Beat' is a grift and always has been. The best they can offer is to be able to read out a Palace PR Statement to camera in a well enunciated voice wearing something smart. Someone explain to me why Jennie Bond wears an ankle chain? My
dear departed Granny always insisted that would make her a prostitute. Maybe she was right, she is definitely a bleep for attention. I saw her recently on TV and all those cruises she goes on sure have taken their toll on her face, she looks like she's been excavated out of a peat bog.

Thanks for the new thread and title. :)

Annoying like GreGG Wallace
And MegHan

She's retired so they should stop asking her opinion.
And Angela Levin should retire as well.

They last had one to one chats with royals YEARS ago.

AL is still dining out on spending a year trailing after Haz about 10 years ago. Or coming out with wild stuff like Catherine allegedly donating a kidney. And GB News has had some absolutely unhinged moments about Catherine. Their Royal reporting is essentially the National Enquirer on TV.

Tina Brown gets airtime because of an acquaintance with Mummy in the 90s.

The only one I have much time for is Mr Arbiter. He's fair and reasonable.

And I always get Jennie Bond and Judi James mixed up. They're both rent-a-quote.

Royal reporting began its terminal decline during the War of the Waleses and the manipulation/spin/taking sides that went along with it. KC3 and Diana have to take some of the blame for starting that. The 'tabloidisation' led to the OTT promotion of Hero Haz/Cheeky Chappie at the expense of fair and balanced reporting on work that more senior Royals were doing. It's never really recovered.

Then the rise of people like Scrotie and the retirement of decent journalists like Valentine Low.

TBH, if you look for it you can find far better Royal analysis on forums and social media these days. Particularly from places that aren't monetised and looking for drama/clicks.

Forget all this rubbish about Greggg and bills in parliament.
Have none of you noticed the most important piece of news today.

The gorgeous Rob Dixon is standing down as an equerry.
That's normal, an equerry post is usually for 3 years, then they go back to service in the Army, RN or RAF.

It's a full on position, prestigious but very hard work.

New post holder will be announced idc.

Harold should be ashamed to be associated with the disgusting treatment of the Baka people but as you say, it’s all about the money and taking control of minerals.
I donate money to an elephant organisation in Kenya and I can see that not only does the money go towards caring for the elephants until they decide to go wild but the charity also helps with human wildlife conflicts.
