I think Charles Spencer seems like he'd be the aristocratic version of The Grinch :ROFLMAO:

And there is no way the Ho is ever stepping back in this country again, and as for the flatpacks, well........

I'd not be surprised if they'd been invited to Althorp for Christmas, a follow-on from staying there allegedly while the Stoat was over for Robert Fellowes's funeral. Fits the newly-reconciled family narrative, makes the Stoats look important, good Sussex PR.

The Spencers have long believed that Charles and Camilla treated Diana cruelly even though the Spencers are as dysfunctional, and there's a lot of anger and suspicion all round. Harald is bound to cause trouble, and he's somehow stalking William, getting closer and inserting himself into his life, his causes. Could be my imagination, but William seems out on a bit of a limb, diminished, his wife absent, the effect of the SS on her ignored. Distracted in the US, focused on foreign stuff like WEF and Earth Shot far away - who cares about these things? - while exposed at home and subtly undermined? His treacherous brother fills the papers along with his stepmother.

The litmus test was that he has been for years unable to defend his wife from attack from his own family, unable to utter a single protest. His wife's persecutors know they are safe, kept safe by the king. After HM's death, the stage was quickly reset for some to shine and some to fade, a long-term plan put into action. The illnesses of two major royals have played a part in this imo, are being used, and the health and future well-being of our Monarchy ditched for short-term PR, spin and popularity. Like no tiaras.
Hard to explain, it's more of a sense than anything concrete.

Where are @Sami Lee and @Evangelina ?

In truth can’t imagine the Spencer’s have much interest in Harry and Meghan.

They’re hardly going to cancel their shooting parties because of the Markle’s. Charles Spencer seems a complete hole too can imagine he’s quite boorish after a few drinks.

They might get material out of him when he’s pissed and feeling sorry for himself but it’s hardly going to be dynamite

Of course we are all desperate to hear Meghan speak about her experience on how to change dish soap advertisements. I'm only surprised it's not being offered as an online course yet. Perhaps Buggerup will offer these pearls of wisdom as part of Harold's life coaching course 🤔 I might have to sign up if that's the case.

This of course is her biggest problem. She can’t imagine how other people think or feel. She appears to have no Theory of Mind. She can’t imagine and doesn’t care that people might be sick to death of hearing the dish soap story again, or that it wasn’t an impressive story to begin with. She has no concept of just how boring she is. She is impressed with herself, and thinks that dish soap episode was an impressive achievement, so of course the little people will want to hear all about it again. She thinks everything she does is amazing, no matter how banal it is in reality.

He is a sad, pathetic man. His only achievements are being the only boy of a noble household and Diana's brother. Most of his kids don't want to see him, So yeah, he and Hazno have a lot in common and spending Christmas together loathing the world from Althorp would give the ILBW the feeling that she is indeed a duchess.

Exactly. My husband and my sisters husband both ADORED my mum but it wasn’t their place to be by her bedside when she died, that was for me, my sister, my Dad and my uncle only. I’m not so sure about the whole Catherine being there story. The children had just gone back to school days before and her place was with them
 
I reckon Harry turned up at Althorp with nowhere to stay and then told Uncle Charles that he had said there would always be a bed here for him. One of those things you say but don’t mean and he found himself stitched up.
Then Harry said he missed big family Christmases like he had at home, Uncle Charles just harrumphed, something like yes, yes and Harry took it as an invitation.
But when it comes to it, you can bet there will be no room at that inn!
 
As well as putting up with all this tit, William has to put up with the Ho cosplaying his dead mother in a creepy way, while simultaneously cosplaying his unwell wife, dressing like both mother and wife, copying them, mimicking them. Re-enacting Diana's death. The black Diana, the budget Catherine, a shapeshifter backed by some nasty and deranged cultists who will go to any lengths for their clinically insane Kween.

The Sussexes want their pretend children to play with the real Wales ones. They threaten the Wales children with harm while sinister uncle Harald says he wants to protect them from generational pain. Only a plane crash away, but that's OK because Chuck made William sign a waiver that if they all get killed it's not Chuck's fault.

The icing on the cake is Harald's constant whining and shroud-waving about their mother, refusing to let go of his grievances and keeping lots of ammunition back.
Nobody says a word to protect the Wales family. Who is on his side? Anyone? I'd be rattled if I were William, and throw in the towel. There's something very wrong going on here, especially as nobody else is being attacked apart from the Waleses.

I’d like to think that now Earl Spencer is a little more mature, he’ll be prioritising his recently widowed sister on her first Christmas without her beloved husband , rather than the Harold circus !!!

On a more serious note, how on earth did h&m expect to pull off such a hoax indefinitely? The logistics of it are mind boggling. What are they going to do now that “the children” can talk? How do they think they’ll navigate the preteen years, high school, college, and so on? Attention to detail my ass. IMO, Archie exists, but is just Harry’s child; Lily is a fantasy; the wedding was of the shotgun variety, the later “miscarriage” was yet another lie. For a woman that old to be that fertile, she’d be in Ripley’s. Also, if she’d ever experienced pregnancy, childbirth, and actually raising children, she’d never shut up about it since she has to educate everyone about everything. Again, just MO.
