"The Duke of Sussex is due to learn whether he has won a High Court challenge against the Government over a decision to change the level of his personal security when visiting the UK.

Harry took legal action against the Home Office over the February 2020 decision of the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) that he should receive a different degree of protection when in the country."

"Following a hearing in December, retired High Court judge Sir Peter Lane is set to issue his ruling over the case on Wednesday. (From 10.30 am)"

ETA I think this hearing is to decide whether there should be a review of the Home Office decision, rather than a Court decision as to whether Harald can have the security he wants or not?
The Judge may kick it into the long grass by granting a review, and that will be that.

I’m really sad to read about the death of Thomas Kingston, it sounds very sudden. Lady Gabriella was a beautiful bride (I always remember Harry & her Smaj didn’t bother going to their wedding and didn’t invite them to theirs either)

Heartbreaking news about Thomas Kingston. Lady Gabriella seems a lovely person. There is a picture of her parents and they look utterly devastated today esp if he passed on Sunday.

It ties in nicely with the will they/won’t they for a cathedral service for the ingriftus games though. They win - yay we will be back; they don’t win - we can’t come back it’s not safe. Although a service like this for the games strikes me as odd.
