Just read about Lady Gabriella's husband. The news was embargoed till 6pm - I'm not sure about the time of the service, but could this be a reason William didn't go? Because he was supporting that side of the family?


ETA: Apologies, just saw that it's already been discussed. I'm just a little less clueless than the Gruesomes today 🤦

After seeing the photos of Pippa enjoying time with her family in St. Barts recently it made me wonder if William, Catherine and the kids ever get a chance to do things like that. How wonderful would it be if Catherine and Pippa could vacation together with all the family together.

I wonder if it’s at all possible for the Wales to vacation outside of the UK (off royal estates) and have it kept completely private

I think they can. They went to Jordan during half-term a couple of years ago and we didn't know until afterwards.

And they managed to go to James and Alizee's wedding in France. Despite 'Hello' covering it there were no pics of them.

Unlike the Harkles their holidays are just that. Holidays. Not PR stunts.

They may well have been to Pippa's in-laws' hotel in the Caribbean too, but kept it low-key.

ETA I think this hearing is to decide whether there should be a review of the Home Office decision, rather than a Court decision as to whether Harald can have the security he wants or not?
The Judge may kick it into the long grass by granting a review, and that will be that.

I hope it does go to review because it won't be rushed The Home office have more important things to do than pander to hazzaisaprick Whats betting if He does get it back loads of Protection officers will step back from the role

They certainly have in the past. They have been to Mustique with the Middletons in a posh rental villa. They went to Jordan one year where Catherine lived for several years as a child (it was their Christmas card that year), they have probably done many others. The thing is that they go with the ultra loyal Middletons who don't blab and they don't organise pap-strolls so we never find out until they are long back at home.

I expect if Catherine had been well that they would have been in St Barts and Pippa would not have been papped

One thing I'm interested in is what happens if KC3 requires a Regent. We assume William but IMO after some of today's PR the signs are pointing to him naming Camilla.

Not sure how that would go down.

On the DM's YT Royal round up video this week, Rebecca was emphatic+++ that Hazno has 'no chance in hell' of being accepted back into the RF.

None of the regular journos on there have any hope for him (except that Perky Elf who tries to keep things 'balanced' and who's like nails on a chalkboard as far as I'm concerned. Sarah Vine was much better as her stand-in imo.).

Camilla as regent?? I think she does a great job as consort, she seems like a fun sort of woman. But I'd draw the line at her being regent.
