Who is Richard Palmer?
Royal Reporter and part of the rota. He writes for the Express (think he's their Royal Editor). Worth following as he was targeted by the SussexBots, and was sent death threats. He knows quite a lot about the whole SussexSquad operation.

Harkles have this week's People Magazine front cover - but with an old photo :ROFLMAO:

There doesn't seem to be anything new but fluff and quotes from the usual mouthpieces. Harry likes to be described as 'the spare' when he's actually just the 7th in line. No-one in the RF has missed the Harkles. They didn't do much actual work, just photo ops, and were extremely expensive to run.

Harry, 36, who long felt marginalized by the role of "spare" in the line of succession—an issue that has plagued generations of royal siblings, including Queen Elizabeth’s sister, Princess Margaret — "finally found a solution," says royal historian Robert Lacey, "which is essentially to get out and start a new life. To stay in the royal system is to go along with subservience to those more senior than you. He has asserted his own identity."

The bit in bold makes me laugh. Hazza had all those years in the Army so knew a bit about working in an organisation and following instructions. That's called 'doing a job' not 'subservience'. They work for Spotify and Netflix now so good luck with that 'asserting your own identity' thing.

Thank you - I never read the Express

Blood boiling - what a total load of pants.

Oh! Can I say that's like meat and potatoes for me.
Used to work on a plastics reconstruction unit and this with other gangrene or necrotising things were so satisfying personally. Not for the patient they had to adapt and change their whole life but to know that you helped from something like this to getting them home. Yeah. Very satisfying

On another note. I know j seem to be harping on a bit but someone made the comment that not only did she have noone from her father's side at the wedding but only her mother from her mother's side. Noone else.
I think her father's side got the criticism as they raised their heads above the parapet to point out a few issues. But from her mother's side no invitations no comments etc. Have they been told to keep quiet?
Old info
Her uncle -- the pale, male and stale one from her dad's side who got her the gig in Argentina -- was outspoken about his unhappiness re: no invite

LOL at the idea the Cambridges will travel to pay homage to King and Kween Harkle at Chateau MortgageCito

The insider added that William and Harry “are looking forward to spending time together in person the moment it’s safe to travel,” noting they will likely reunite in England. “But at some point in 2021, the Cambridges will travel to Santa Barbara and see the Sussexes on their new home turf.”

Can someone explain when prom is held in US. If Meghan was born in 1981 and this photo was 1997 or thereabouts that would make her 16. Is that when prom is held?
Sorry it won't let me upload the document as it's a PDF.
It's a filing called Conrad v yahoo and exhibit A is the picture I'm looking at and the detail is in the filing.
you have Junior prom which is your junior year (16) and senior prom which is your senior year (17) - both usually take place in the late spring. What is weird is that all the girls seem to be wearing identical dark dresses and she is standing out (like she did for Louis' baptism where she wore the goose tit green dress when everyone else had gotten the memo and wore blue and/or cream) in her full-length, all virginous white. and there are 3 events with 3 different dresses including the one with the long white gloves.

If it was a debutant ball/cotillon, that would be Decembbeer of her Freshman year at college, all the girls would be wearing white and she would be photographed with her dad

Get the popcorn, it's going ahead!

Hearing just on the summary judgement issue on 19th and 20th Jan. It will be a remote hearing and 19th is still supposed to be a reading day for the court papers. Can't wait!

100% agree. It's rare in any walk of life not to have a boss of some kind. Many of us can escape the frustrations of being 'bossed' when we get home to the warm and loving embrace of a cosy, caring environment where our spouses, partners and friends are prepared to listen to our moans & needs and support us accordingly. Harry? Not so much.

Prom is usually held for Juniors and Seniors in the Spring, usually around the month of May. Grades 11 and 12 in American schools. Grade 12 students are usually 17 - 18; usually turn 18 the year that they graduate. The next step is usually college around age 18.

BUT, you can go to Prom as a “date” to a Junior or Senior, feasibly you could be as young as 14 at Prom. So, a student could be a freshman and attend Prom with a Junior or Senior.

So, students can attend Prom in their Junior and Senior years. AND, they could go as someone’s “date” as early as their freshman year.

It is feasible that someone could attend 4 Proms.

It is more usual to just attend the Prom in your Senior year.

To further confuse things, we also have Homecoming. This is in the Fall, usually October. It is another formal or semi - formal dance.

AND we have a court at BOTH Homecoming and Prom, where we have a king and queen.

I am sorry, this was already answered by residentmerkin and others.

And I used the word usually too much ;)
The reason is my son had a late August birthday so he started later and turned 19 the year that he graduated. Also, the cutoff date for birthdays and starting school can be anywhere between September and December. So, age is not fixed.

There is no way whatsoever that the future king and his queen consort would travel to Santa Barbara. How are any publications allowed to print this total made-up rubbish?

Which is why this particular photo sparked rumours about a previous and annulled wedding...it is really weird, you're right.
