I'm quite shocked at Charles' apathy towards Andrew and Harry. The optics are just appalling however you look at them, especially Andrew still living in absolute luxury and privilege... and entitlement. And it's obvious that he's funding Harry/Meghan - they'd be broke without financial input. He's slowly letting these two destroy everything his mother and father worked so dutifully to build.

To be fair, I used to watch polo matches at my local club. They were free (they were tit - around 0-2 goal) but it was a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I then went to a few socials which were ticketed and a few higher goal matches which were more expensive for a 3 course meal, but at least at those matches you had commentary so you knew what was going on! No idea what they would charge these days but social membership was quite affordable back then £15 or so for the year. However, to play,
The docusoap would have been a lot more interesting I suspect if they had included more of those sort of stories and not tried to make it "Real Housewives of Polo".

I agree.
Andrew is the 'Access All Areas' man and has been since his Trade Envoy days. He's always brought the prestigious Royal-adjacent stuff that can be so valuable for all parties, including himself and even the Government. He's probably very easy to court, being vain, resentful, not particularly bright and very susceptible to anyone who makes him feel 'special' and 'important' in a way that his position within the RF does not. Very easy to do a little personal business if you want to, merely by introducing people to each other. Fergie tried it. So did Sophie in her very early days.
Hazza is just the newer, shinier, thicker version of PA but with slightly different and potentially more dangerous motives. Andrew's are predominantly about money and status. Haz wants that too, but also to be a Global Leader to rival his father and brother. One who thinks he can hold 'talks' independent of FCDO input and oversight.
Problem with both situations is that we can vote MPs out of office and/or media pressure can force a resignation. When it's errant Royals we are entirely dependent on the Monarch doing the 'right thing' to maintain the people's trust and ongoing consent.
And KC3 has a few skeletons of his own.

This looks glorious and cosy! We have the trees up in all of the reception spaces and they all have lights but I’ve run out of steam for attaching balls!
Im oddly organised with my Christmas decs - each colour is in its own ‘plastic drawer’ in a unit in a shed - lights in one, ornaments in another etc and since my babies arrived every year they get a new bauble so when they fly the nest they have a whole trees worth of memories to take with them.
Didn’t Henry claim to have stolen or broken a Christmas decoration of the queens?
