So from tomorrow's excerpts; the pro meghan authors have written:

  • Senior courtiers described Meghan Markle as 'Harry's showgirl' when they first started dating;
  • One aide said she 'comes with a lot of a baggage' while another said 'there's something about her I don't trust'.

How can you say they weren't warm or welcoming when they hosted Meghan for Christmas, invited her into their totally private inner sanctum at Anmer Hall and did everything they could to make her feel at home? They personally cooked her favourite vegan food, they couldn't have been more welcoming.'

Meghan the fair weather vegan. I thought they told the world Harry proposed whilst they were « trying to roast a chicken »

And they broke tradition and allowed her to have Christmas with them when kate wasn't allowed to until she married William. And yet she's out her saying the Royal family treated her like shite?!

They can't afford one! Well, obviously they can, but not one she wants!

In the event of a divorce it would be an asset bought during the time of their marriage, and so I very much doubt the RF will want to fund that.

I'm no lawyer ( perhaps we can ask our lovely @antinoos!) but I don't think our Megalomaniac has quite thought this through.

California is a community property state, but PH has earned £0.00 ever during their marriage - and more particularly, is not "domiciled" there.

He retains Frogmore Cottage ( as does Archie) as his "address". Current thinking is that he has remained a UK citizen & has not applied for a green card. His assets prior to their marriage are protected. The PR has continually ensured he is the dim-witted buffoon and lapdog, who couldn't do anything without her say so, and thus ironically, this faux feminist may indeed find herself painted as the "head of the family" or "breadwinner" with PH's role as the stay-at-home-dad. ( or the all important primary care-giver)

If it is proven she is earning ( Meghan's Mirror etc ), then - rather amusingly - she could have to split the money earned during the marriage with him.

I very much doubt that money gifted from a UK father- in -law counts as a marital asset for a non-resident. Gifts and inheritances are specifically mentioned as being separate - not marital - property under Californian law. Oh and no-one would believe they left without a very, very carefully worded agreement saying the RF are funding the "finding of freedom" for one year only

Gangan and her uber loyal "men in grey suits" play the long game, it seems. 😁
 
Gosh, don't think I can catch up with the thread, so much has happened! I've been kind of distracted the last 2 weeks by the adorable kittens one of my cats gave birth to on 9 July. Just been reading on the Mail about extracts from the "Finding Freedom" book. What a crock of farmyard shite!! The RF bent over backwards for Harry and Smeg and this is their reward a great big stab in the back. That book must contain more tit than the new London super sewer!

To say "she gave up her entire life" is hilarious. So she gave up being an ageing z list actress about to lose her minor role on a cable show few had even heard of, living in a cheap rented apartment, wearing cheap clothes and flying economy?

In exchange for being the wife of a Prince with a billionaire lifestyle, an extraordinary £1m a year clothing allowance and "viewing figures" that even the most influential of TV stars could only dream of?

It sure must have been a huge sacrifice for a money-worshipping fame-hungry actress. 🤣

Yet she gave it all up because basically she
  • didn't like being told to wear tights, or when to wear a hat, or what colour nail polish to wear "at work"
  • didn't like following advice from Courtiers for her new work role
  • didn't like working a few hours, 2 days a week at most
  • and especially didn't like walking a couple of paces behind more senior Royalty " at work" even though it was part of her role
  • oh - and didn't like the fact that more senior members "at work" had the pick of jobs ahead of her...
Bearing in mind, she didn't have to do ANY of the above at home on the other 5 days a week. She had a husband who adored her ( I doubt this now) and would have never had to worry about money ever again, all doors would have been open to her. And I'm sure she could have steered her Royal patronage of the theatre to be the "Hollywood Queen" she so desperately wanted to be. She was handed everything on a plate and threw it all away.

And people think PH is the petulant, brainless one...😆

Regarding the nail poliish. The irony is that she generally wears very bland and 'sensible' pale polishes like nude or pale pinks with just occasional brights, but after being advised to not wear dark or overly bright polishes at royal appearances it seemed to trigger a flurry of her wearing deep reds and even black. It was so childish yet machiavellian too, like she was deliberately trying to provoke so she could scream victim and then tell haz they were picking on her over her nail colour choices.
