That was my understanding of what she said too. I wonder how the rest of the RF found out then. Do we think Harry or the wife actually told them to their faces? I reckon Lady C knows the truth about the surrogacy but even she can't directly say because of privacy reasons.

They do realize that it is not like a real auction, with bidders sitting in a room? I doubt Harry has the brain power to put together the proposal, let alone evaluate the bids and negotiate. I also can't imagine any commercial publishing house willing to negotiate directly with the author, no matter how high profile, especially when he is using a ghostwriter. Academic presses will negotiate directly, because there are rarely advances and the contract is pretty straightforward (and no one expects to get rich publishing through an academic press - that is usually just to burnish credentials) There are too many legal pitfalls. Has anyone seen any mention of who his literary agent is? Usually press releases about deals will mention it as it is free publicity for that agent. İ can't see Smeg and Haz telling TRF to their faces/being honest. İf a surrogate/moonbump was used then this was to deceive TRF and gain titles, place in line of succession. Remember Smeg refused the Queen's gyn/ob doctors so none were present at the 'birth' to validate that Aldi was 'of the body' of Smeg. İt sounds to me that Aldi should never have been listed in the line of succession as Lady C suggests. TRF are being super-cautious now and İ only hope there are no satisfactory birth documents or dna supporting Lili being placed in line. İ'm guessing Beatrice and Edo's baby is born around September/October time so should be interesting to view the LOS then.

I don't agree with Lady C here, and think that the RF knew from the start that Minge wasn't pregnant. They knew, but kept quiet. Fom their point of view there was a) either a surrogate or b) a fake pregnancy and no resulting child. They didn't know either way. We still don't, so how could they have known? They went with H&M's story and put "Farch" on the succession list because it was the best decision at the time and caused least trouble. They actually had no alternative.

It was the RF and general public who were deceived. They may have to deal with later accusations by H&M that surrogacy was forced on them, but I don't think the RF are in a difficult position here at all. Smeg and Haitch have a lot of explaining to do if they lift the lid on this, not the RF.

This is such a fine example of a true diplomat and leader. I presume when they are writing their book on leadership, it will be about her? For they wouldn't know the first thing about what it truly means to lead with strength and dignity. Pied piper of bullshit.
 
Adding onto my previous post: I see in the article that two publishers flew in person and two over Zoom and Harry led the negotiations. Again that is not how it happens, especially in these times of covid. He doesn’t have the brainpower to tie his shoes, let alone lead these kind of negotiations. More SS propaganda trying to prop him up as a “leader” and keep M’s hands clean. It’s very suspicious

William is such a gentle guy. So deep and so measured. So mature and reliable. I hate to think of what he and Charles are going through. Because the Queen is such a grand age, we can sometimes overlook the fact that Charles is not a young man either. It must be hard for William to watch his father going through such turmoil at this later phase of life. My parents are the same vintage and if it was them I'd be LIVID and extremely worried about the impact on their health. It's elder abuse plain and simple and taking advantage of the dignified manner his family must maintain. It's deeply upsetting to watch, particularly when you imagine yourself in their shoes.

Why didn't he see what good examples Princess Anne and Prince Edward are then? They're also siblings of a future monarch but they've accepted their destiny and made the most of their positions. Then again, Harry's way too stupid to realise that.

Lady C said in a video last week that Charles has been pretty badly affected by Harry and the wife's behaviour. I think the question that was asked to her was about Charles being close to having a breakdown and she said she'd heard something similar.
