I don't think the blackmailing or optics push is really going to work in the way some people think for the Sussex couple. The woke/sjw tit really only works when people are comfy/satiated and can afford time to care about nonsense. Urbanized wealthy types spending all their time on blogs/twitter are an extreme minority who enjoy attacking/destroying their own nations in a weird way to build social capital, but in both countries an increasing number of people have lost tons since 2020 started. People aren't responding to political/media stuff like they did even a year ago, and people think anyone is going to give a duck about two rich idiots complaining about the royal family not worshipping them because racism?

The constant obsession with ~oh no they'll win the blackmail game by claiming to be black and oppressed~ on here is just a bit weird and overdone sometimes

I posted a piece in the last thread about details in the recently released accounts which said the 2.4 million they paid back for renovations at Frogmore included 18 months rent for Frogmore. If that is true then he is still renting it as their 'home when they are living in the UK'. The agreement when they left was that they would have to pay rent for it - living there or not. I think this is probably why Eugenie is living there as they will be charging her rent to recoup some of their losses. Whether she, or PC or such like, is paying it is open for discussion I would say.

I’m so glad they chose him as his work is stunning and he did the relief for the queen herself which is on stamps.

True, but it's actually forbidden for that reason, same with giving autographs.
Another bit of trivia, every gift that the Royals receive where the gift giver is not identified, say average citizens is destroyed.
One would think that it would be given to a charity, but risk accesment dictates that it could be laced with something and potentially kill someone, or many, kids in school for example.
In the past, up until the 90s things were donated.

I totally get that. I suspect there are similar rules for our government officials. We had to destroy a lot of merchandise when I worked retail rather than giving it to charity for similar reasons.
