Hi all 👋😁 wish I’d found this amazing thread earlier. What an outstanding series, storyline and cast, the continuity, everything is just perfection. I love everything she writes, I adored Scott and Bailey and currently watching Last Tango, Nicola Walker and Sarah Lancashire are just STUNNING.

I’m worried for Richard who’s currently investigating the Czezonvics (I’m so sorry for appalling spelling) from a different perspective supposedly, but if they find out who he is or if Tommy finds him maybe talking to/ interviewing Darius he’ll know who he is maybe? Maybe he’ll use him to lure Catherine or Ryan or both?
I initially wondered if TLR would contact Clare and tell her he’s sorry and just wants to make amends, just with it being so apparent that she’s a softie for someone who’s sorry? Maybe kidnap her to lure Catherine or Ryan.
id love Hepworth to be charged for Joanne’s murder just so he’s away from those little girls, rightly jailed but for the wrong crime, and maybe Faisal will be killed by the gangsters?
I wonder the big grand finale will be at her hastily planned retirement do? That would bring all the characters together and hopefully a happy ending 🤞🤞🤞🙏

I just don’t know if happy valley will have a happy ending ….. eeeeeeek the suspense is killing me if I were rich I’d bribe all the cast for the ending storylines lol

Joyce acted really weird when the results of the diazepam drugs test came back and she was in Catherine’s office. She watched her put the drugs and results in her drawer and seemed overly interested in them. Will they still be in the drawer when Catherine goes to look for them?

I remember this too. Every morning and early evening. I worked by Trinity way.
 
No I also agree the same as the double declutching, I can't see them going to the effort for no reason. They specifically filmed it to focus on Joyce acting odd when Catherine looked up the address etc.

Also in the first series we know someone is at least a bit dodgy in that nick because they tampered with the councillor's bag of cocaine after Catherine refused to take it out of evidence when the chief constable asked. That person was never revealed.
