It wouldn't be quite so bad if he could ventriloquise (or whatever you call it). But he just hid his face behind the dummy's head and talked - well, I would say "normally" but it's a bit of a stretch to describe it as "normal".

I think my favourites so far are Pascha and Suzy but I'm not feeling attached to anyone else so far. But Week 1 they are usually nervous so I'll give them a chance ahaha
apart from Ailsa who made a right pig's ear of the denim dress gathering...

(I sound catty though I definitely spent ages unpicking seams last weekend as I sewed up the wrong pieces...)

Love that there's a Sewing Bee thread. It's a shame none of the skirts were really finished in the first round, seemed they didn't really have enough time? Loved some of the dresses though, really looking forward to the rest of the series!

Luke's dress was my fave (that was Luke, right? The black and white shirt dress), but there were a lot of good dresses there. Excited to see what this lot can do now they've got the nerves of the first show out their systems.

They don’t actually need a presenter. It’s overkill.

Kiell is a much better presenter than Sara was, although nobody will be as good as Claudia Manwinkle. I like Don and Comfort, the godet dressed looked so much better than the illustration of it, if he'd managed to get the hem on it might've been GOTW.
