this is so odd! she’s being repeatedly called out on twitter and is continuing to talk about everything but the NHS, but is liking tweets defending her so obviously knows that people think she should be thanking the NHS. I mean even if she for some reason hates nurses why not just bleeping thank them even if you don’t mean it ??

I know of, through someone else, a young mother who also fell ill with COVID immediately after her labour and she died from it, leaving her baby behind. Was she just not determined enough to rise?

I was reading about a j pritchards gf - bit more humility and gratitude in this.

I wouldn't call her a twit. It's her sense of humor. Also she might be religious and this is her way of dealing with it. I think some of these comments are pretty damn cruel. She's grateful that she's alive. She's probably unaware of what else has been going on as she's been in a coma for months and also been on alot of medication too.
When you're in hospital for months you become institutionalised too!
Ok I saw she hasn't thanked NHS staff once with this . So I think that's a bit off to be honest. She needs to at least praise nhs staff .

Wow. What a duck you to all the 100’s of people that kept her and her child alive for the last for the three months.
I’ve spent the last year working in the ICUs and HDUs of my hospital. It has been rough. Not least because of the size of many of our patients. A nurse commented in the staff room the other day about how much they’re looking forward to not having to care for so many fatties going forward. It’s exhausting and everything is harder. I know that my joints have all taken a hit this year from the turning and personal care.
Somebody here mentioned the turn teams that went around and proned patients. More often than not they were made up of volunteers from other departments whose services had been reduced. One day it was literally all dentists and eye doctors!
Also, think about all the people who have died in the last year that helped to teach the medical staff the best treatment pathways to follow. Just so that she could pull through and thank herself.
Interesting to hear that dentists have had to get involved in healthcare that doctors normally do.

I think the 42 day rule is relaxed now due to Covid. I don’t think he’d dare register the baby without her permission 😬 but then he wouldn’t have been able to claim for any gov funding without registering him?

My sister had a baby at the end of last year, he is still a non-person as the local registration office said they were doing deaths only. Still time to change his name yet! What's the betting on a name like Phoenix now?

Long time lurker, first time poster here.

While I’m delighted Grace is awake and doing seemingly better, her tweets angered me to no end. My great auntie sadly passed away in December after getting ill with covid she caught in the hospital. Did she not want to live enough? Or was she not ‘her’ enough? Stfu, Grace. You are alive because of the joint efforts of the NHS and modern medicine, not because you’re a special ethereal person who happened to pull through on your own. So sickening.

Don’t worry pretty sure she will come crashing back to earth with a bump when she’s doing round the clock feeds and changing 💩 nappies.
Unless she’s going to manifest that too
Exactly this! It’s all well posing for a photo with a sleeping baby who will go home once visiting time is over but when she gets home the hard work will begin, not that she will admit it’s anything but rainbows and unicorns! Lee is a much more patient person then I could ever be 🤣

But will she get that bump, by the time she gets home that baby could be 5 or 6 months old (and I believe that's being generous time wise). I understand she's had a hideous ordeal and would not have wanted to miss it but there is nothing quite like the early newborn days to humble someone !

I don't think she will tbh. Grace was a very lazy and selfish individual to begin with so even when she has recovered, she will likely use her ordeal as an excuse to get out of the rough parts of looking after her baby/toddler and leave it all to Lee.

All I can imagine is her saying now well you’ve done it on your own for thing long you can keep doing it

Girl bye

She isn’t mentioning the NHS because they must have warned her about her weight a few times (I’m thinking the consultant that she was complaining about) I mean she wasn’t even grateful that she had a specialist (!!!) assigned to her , that just shows you how her delusions about her weight not making her unhealthy have turned her into such an insufferable idiot who can’t even thank the medical team who actually made her recovery possible.

She could at least thank the nhs though

Babies are hard work at any age.
So when ever she gets back home full time it will be difficult readjusting to family life.
I do wish her well but a little Grace wouldn’t go amiss
