View attachment 3060437 q I liked the sound of this bag but my mouth dropped when I saw that price. She is robbing people blind
Why does it look like a pet carrier?

please may anyone explain the whole funding thing a bit for me? like, whats a funding 'round', how does it all work
I am not at all in the field but as I understand it a funding round is when company pitches themselves around to investors/Venture Capital firms, hoping to get them to invest in the business for a certain amount of equity in the company. Tala has had at least one funding 'round' before, and now wants to raise more money from new and old investors to expand further.

(please someone if I am off the mark correct me! 😅 )

Companies will pitch themselves to different Venture Capital firms with the hope of raising extra money that they can invest into the business! So ideally they could get anywhere from a few 100k to millions - this would be to help them grow and hopefully turn a higher profit with the expansion

God knows how Tala managed to get it though the VC landscape has been grim this year 🫠

yes funding rounds can be intense, it’s not quite as easy as just going around asking your rich parents connections for money. A lot of the credit should probably go to the company CEO and CFO who probably do the heavy lifting. I know this is an unpopular opinion but a lot of people are born with money and don’t go on to do what Grace has done, it takes guts and determination and a hell of lot of time and effort to use that money to build something and take a risk.

But the thing is she didn't do it alone. Credit for Grace's business success imo goes to Genflow and the staff at Tala who do the hard work (as you mentioned the CFO and CEO almost certainly have worked really hard to get this funding!)

Also the company is built on lies. Yes brands can evolve and change through time but her whole USP at the start is now completely contradicted.

I’m sure Oner active is Krissys brand and you don’t see her pushing all this girl boss stuff because likely someone has been doing a lot of it for her. I should prob check out her thread though 😂

Ewww

Ewwww no don’t make me give Grez kudos 🤢

I honestly don’t get why she feels the need to share things like this?? In one breath she is saying she trusts the team to make decisions but then in the other asks people to triple check before things come to her?! Public calling out like that- very toxic
The self importance 😮‍💨😮‍💨
I only skimmed that and saw 2 mistakes as well. I can only imagine what a nightmare she is as a boss

Lol was just about to post this. We’ve been saying she needs to delegate those “approvals” for years and she’s only just realising it now?! 💀

That message would piss me the duck off if I worked there. It's blindingly obvious that's she is the problem here (i.e. micromanaging and insisting on approving things that probably don't need her input), and even though she almost acknowledges this, she still ultimately shifts the blame onto her employees. This whole frenetic message screams micromanager.

also wildly unprofessional to post a screenshot of you basically admonishing your employees.
