Thing is a lot of new shows seem to be getting screened across one week; from ITV alone recently there's been Don't Rock The Boat, The Sister, Honour and Des all in the one week as opposed to the usual being spread out. They did have them reviewing Des and Don't Rock The Boat, but only the first episode which seems a bit pointless.

I wonder why they didn't have them reviewing Ambulance, the brilliant series from the BBC. I recall them reviewing one from the Liverpool series but they don't seem to have them regularly watching it.

I feel that the more recent series of gogglebox, has become quite tedious. The set up scenes, are quite dreadful, why can’t we just have them chatting about what is on TV?

Most of the programme now features their political rants, I find this quite boring.

The elderly Bristol ladies, seem to have overtaken the Blackpool siblings with obsessive sex talk. Its so contrived, they are obviously told to mention sex at every opportunity, probably told exactly what to say. They irritate the hell out of me too - most of them do.
I think it’s only the Welsh couple that I enjoy watching now.

The scenes in between do at times feel like a competition between some of the participants as to who can be the most outlandish/get the most laughs. So you had Jenny falling off the sofabed this week and Pete in drag last week before trying to balance from the door this week and predictably falling down.

I really missed Mary and Marina this week, find them hilarious and love their friendship. I did notice Linda and Pete were back this week, they seem to only appear on a recurring basis these days. Maybe it was easier to film with them because they are a couple so in the same household, so in the absence of Mary and Marina they were featured again. Seems odd given they've been in it on and off since the start, unless they just don't want to commit to filming each week.

I feel the same about when they watch the Corona virus updates on the news. I dont want to see their reactions to that. It's bad enough we have our own reactions. I know that it's real life & their trying to make it seem relatable, but its bad enough going through it ourselves and it's meant to be a funny and light hearted show. Might just be me 🤷🏻‍♀️
