Aw I like Paige and Sally! Pete and Soph crack me up each week although def seem a bit close for siblings. I pretty much like all the Gogglebox families except those Geordie girls. They add absolutely nothing of value, the fake thick act (at least I hope it's fake) isn't funny, charming or original. I have no idea how they even made it onto the show in the first place?
 
I’m new to Gogglebox and watching what is available on Netflix. I know some people don’t get the whole idea of watching other people watch tv but the reactions are funny and sometimes heartwarming. It makes for great background noise or if you need something to cheer you up.

Do they watch the entire show/program that they are reacting to? Do they have to stay caught up on certain series or does it not matter? I was watching

i believe they used to watch the whole show in the old days when it first started but nowadays they are sent a ‘highlights reel’ of clips to react to. So quite fake but enjoyable tv nonetheless.
 
Wonder if we’ll get more changes to the lineup now that we’re going into lockdown 2.0?

Surely Ellie & Izzy and the Siddiquis for instance shouldn’t really be going into each other’s houses? Hope we don’t get Izzy (or is it Ellie? I don’t know which is which) and her dull boyfriend again.

What annoys me about this, is they’ve most likely seen the programmes in the week or headlines on social media
 
This week's show seemed to (1) feature more stuff than usual that's only on Netflix or Sky so many people can't watch (2) feature several programmes like Strictly and that Nicole Kidman thing that they've already featured (2) have way more focus/time on the people and their comedy antics, than showing or discussing actual programmes.

Is this because new TV content is now becoming really scarce due to the covid!?

I haven't seen the Borat film yet, but I found the Rudi Giuliani footage really quite disturbing.
