It was obvious they’d include the news bit. Cue everyone getting maudlin and the Leeds sisters regaling us with Auntie Margaret’s gout being cured by Eccles cakes.

Yes we are overdue an update on Auntie Margaret and what she had to eat... 🤣. And whether there was enough food and all that fascinating stuff.

I watch old episodes occasionally and they used to make more of an effort to engage with what they were watching.
Now it's just endless dialogue between the two of them about absolutely nothing of interest. And they get too much screentime imo.
 
Sorry, I can’t get behind the Pete and Sophie love. All the sexual innuendos between a brother and sister gives me the ick. 🤮

I do miss some of the oldies. Mary and Marina, Steph and Dom, The Michaels.

The Tapper son is standing in the local election apparently.

The Siddiqui’s are the only original family now.

I love the Siddiquis too! I did love Steph and Dom too. I think I said it before they once liked my Instagram post about gogglebox and I was so delighted 😅

I have no idea who the son is. Don't remember him at all and but the looks of things that's a good thing.

I do remember the parents but I think I found them annoying.

I love the Siddiquis and the Plummers - Tremaine, Twaine and Tristan. They are my favourites, those two families.
I like Simon and Jane too.
I know they divide opinion here and on Digital Spy but Giles and Mary entertain me.

I was surprised last week when they did an announcement at the start of the show to say it had been recorded before the news had broke. I assumed they were going to show them bitching about all the rumours tbh. It was a bit of an odd thing to do, I thought.

Something was said, possibly in the intro, I can't remember what, (maybe about the photo) but it might have seemed a bit mean, in the circumstances.
