Sophie’s “he must have put the willies up her” about the woman marrying a ghost proper made me lol.

As did Mary’s impression why she couldn’t be on the wheel haha.

mary’s impression of whirling around on the wheel with an expression like 🤪 was the best part of the episode for me 🤣 i love whenever she goes a bit silly and then refuses to continue when giles notices.

I love Simon and Jane. I think they're a great addition. Some people just slot right in.
Exactly what I was about to say. They settled in really well.

He was very funny another night describing being at a concert and how everyone there was being so polite and considerate to each other, asking if they had enough room, and offering to move and so on. He said he wanted there to be a bit of moshing or something 😂 instead of all the politeness.

I don't dislike anyone on it either.

Some nights are better than others but I look forward to putting my feet up on a Friday night and watching. 😁
Oh definitely, I'm still going to watch it! 🙈
I quite like Ronnie and his wife (sorry forgotten her name). He seems a kindly soft hearted soul and is always crying. Plus they hold hands.
Oh I love them bless him he's so emotional ❤
I love Simon and Jane, he's so funny!

Enjoyed tonight, overall.

Idly wondering if that room Abbie and Georgia are in is just a set up for the purpose of Gogglebox. It's so perfect looking 😁. It never occurred to me until I read it on here or maybe DS that some are not in their actual homes.

My favourites are the Siddiquis

I don't think we've seen as much of the Siddiquis this series? Has anyone else noticed? They've always been some of my favourites.

When it comes to the new additions (the two women/best friends, don't remember their names) I think they seem more aware of being in front of a camera which kind of spoils it imo. They might be alright as people, but it feels less authentic.

That first challenge on I'm a Celeb gave me vertigo and I'm not usually scared of heights.

Danielle and Daniella - yes, that's a very good point. They are very aware of the camera.

This is really petty of me but I wish Roisin and Joe (Scottish couple) would occasionally just sit on the sofa without her legs and feet on top of him. I know that just might be the way they sit so I'm being unfair but it looks uncomfortable and staged.

Jenny and Lee of whom I used to be very fond are now taking it too far with setting up stuff for the camera, imo. My eyes rolled last night when I saw them with their latest nonsense. I still like them but I preferred it when they were more natural in their behaviour and chat.

Yes, I felt as if I was on that thing, while watching 😁 I would have said I'm NOT a celebrity... GET ME OUTTA HERE. 🤣

same! i wonder if they’ve been told to sit like that for the camera (as it gets them both in shot) - i’ve noticed a few of the couples sit in really strange ways that surely can’t be their usual set-up. like marcus lounges across the sofa with michia perched beside him, when i assume in “real life” she’s further down or on another chair, but obviously wouldn’t be in frame then.

edit: why have i thought about this so much 🤣

I was thinking that and remembered something the Brummie mother and daughter said. (The daughter was called Paige, they are no longer in it as they fell out - mother slept with daughter's boyfriend or something like that).
But they said how uncomfortable filming was. They always were squashed right up against each other for hours on end, and said the producers wanted them to recreate that every time for some reason.

I know some of the set ups are to make sure they are in shot but I imagine they would still be in shot sitting side by side. 😁

Remember the mother and daughter (Paige and Sally) who used to nearly sit on top of each other - I used to almost feel claustrophobic just looking at them. 🤣

I think they must do, because Dad Malone’s armchair almost blocks the door! They must just move it for filming.

i always think this when i see them! the chair in pete and sophie’s also almost completely blocks the door, which can’t be where it usually is.

omg paige and sally! they used to basically spoon to watch, it absolutely made me feel claustrophobic too 🤣 interesting from jelly bean’s post that they were told to do that - it looked so unnatural.

it annoys me the most with marcus and michia though because he takes all the room and she perches next to him like a little bird, even when they’re eating. it must be so uncomfortable for her.

I remember reading that she said that alright. She spoke about a few things after they left Gogglebox, and said they would sometimes have to sit that way for hours on end.

I know the set ups are for the camera shot but when they started first, the mother used to sit with her arm literally around the daughter. It looked so uncomfortable for both of them.

Agree re door blocking in some cases and Dave used to loll completely uncomfortably against the arm rest of the couch which was right up to the door of the room. 😁 I was glad when he got an armchair instead. 🤣

Should we set up a society for overthinking Gogglebox viewers 🤣!
