I’ve read and heard so much tit in the last 24 hrs, it’s exhausting. My son has a friend who has always wanted to be a teacher - lovely lad who started teacher training after finishing his degree. Anyway, after 6 months he’s decided he just can’t do it because of what he has to put up with in the classroom. The (secondary) school he’s at is so seeped in trans ideology that he is supposed to unquestioningly tolerate a female pupil in one of his classes who is a ‘two spirit furry’ and behaves according to the furry ‘identity’. Also, there’s flags and propaganda everywhere. This along with the fact that he’s picked on by senior staff means he’s handed in his notice. He would’ve made a great teacher too.

Still on the subject of schools, I’ve just read this in the Telegraph. It’s so bloody relentless. What does this bit even mean?

Basically, anyone who says they’re ‘trans’ by the sound of it, in other words self-id. How long before we have a case like the Darlington nurses where female teachers who raise concerns are shooed out to a broom cupboard or told not to take a shower if they don’t like it. Just duck off with this woman-hating crap.

I hate that bloody flag with a passion. Can you imagine if there was a gender critical flag? It would be described as offensive and hateful, literal genocide, all the usual stuff that the TRA repeatedly trot out. Well, I find that flag offensive. I don’t want any ideologies pushed on me.
You may have seen before but I call it the regress flag!

I hope your son's friend would consider a bit of supply teaching until he finds a good school. I really believe the area of the school will make all the difference.

ETA Maybe he can't supply teach yet, due to how qualified he is, but it's the area that matters.

Life imitating art, this sounds like pure Dr Dame Katy Denise - Tertuliana Lustosa is so euphoric at being given a chair that he dances on it whilst exposing his nether regions to students.
Back in the 70s, it was noted that some men were 'flashers' who wore dirty raincoats, whereas if a woman exposed herself it would be because she had had a nervous breakdown. This is the received wisdom I picked up as a child. Seems like the dirty mac brigade have evolved to reach a bigger audience these days.

Still blows my mind in the #bekind✌era, the era that you get trigger warnings on historical books and media, that a man can imitate a woman and be celebrated for it, that the opposite sex he is impersonating and demanding access to spaces and services to are expected to celebrate him too. Appropriating women in public should be against the law. Using the word woman as a descriptive word for yourself when you're a man should be against the law. They are very good at making up nonsensical new words so they can make one up for their new identity that doesn't involve woman as that title is reserved for women only not pretend ones.

Yepppp that's how it works

A lot of Reddit is a cesspit these days. I’m on a gaming sub, and one thread got locked recently for daring to be about Hogwarts Legacy. It didn’t even state in the sub rules that chat about that game was banned

Of course talk about other games where developers are abusers etc. are fine

Not many subs are more GC but have seen some promising comments on the dedicated Harry Potter ones
