I agree I quite like this slot. But Paul does tend to sit there like a Taylor’s dummy. Maybe Caroline would have been best suited to this. All though it does seem to look like she has left under a cloud. Shame really as I did like her

I think Caroline was only ever a regular guest. I hope she comes back, because the last thing GB News needs is for everyone to be singing from the same hymn-sheet. What sort of debates would that lead to?
 
Why would Caroline want to hang around? She's accomplished, highly-intelligent, and left-leaning. Hardly the type of person GB News want.

Watch The Mark Dolan Show. Have you seen all the misfits they have on there? I saw Lizzy Cundy on there last week ffs. Lizzy Cundy?! Honestly, I've never seen so many people with personality disorders gathered in one place. To think they have a platform on national TV (thankfully hardly anyone watches). Quite disturbing imo.
 
I agree with the sentiments of some of the guests they are having especially at night … not a good idea, just makes you want to turn off. But I did think the other day are they hoping that these guest will be controversial and perhaps boost publicity for the channel?!
I wouldn’t say that it’s a right wing leaning channel but I do wish it would stop with the narrative of what’s in the vaccine, passport’s and the markle woman! That is getting boring now!

Some great news is that Stephen Dixon is now moving over to GB news and apparently is doing a breakfast show with Eamon Holmes. Bloody marvellous 🥰🥰

I'd heard Eamonn Holmes was moving to the channel, after "brave kind Phil" elbowed him off This Morning. I hope his wife Ruthie can join him! 👍🏻
 
It's strange that no-one's shouting much about Murdoch's rival TalkTV (aka The Sun on TV) channel, isn't it?

I can't see GB News lasting. I mean it's really niche. The troubling thing is, as it slowly dies it'll become even more Right Wing and that's never good. At least in my opinion.

They've still got some decent presenters, such as Dan Wootton, Nigel Farage and Eamonn Holmes (soon.) Others like Calvin Robinson and Paul Embery are as dull as ditch-water though. People were shouting for months about GB News, but Murdoch's "The Sun on TV" is only a month or so away, yet people just aren't very excited at all.

Calvin would be better suited to TalkRadio IMO. I'm not sure he has enough charisma for TV but he was decent on radio and appeals to a lot of their audience. He seems to be one of the commentators whose loyalties are with GB though. Anyone except presenters are free to do both but some only do one of them. I guess he fell out with someone there and I know he and Trisha Goddard butted heads on a handover so that may be a factor. Abi Roberts is another example, she did stints at TR for a while with Mark Dolan but is exclusively GB now and appears very often (apparently refused to do any COVID testing for a TalkTV pilot so probably fell out with TPTB there).

Dan Wootton is a buffoon, probably done more harm than good for GB News.

Has Kirsty Gallagher left because of a tumour in her ear causing tinnitus? Or has she been dropped? Her "career "seemed to have become non existent until GB news threw her a lifeline.
