Looks like Free Speech Nation is now 7pm Sunday and the show with Isabel Webster has been axed. Nana Akua starts her new show in those slots from this weekend. I believe that Isabel is now presenting weekend breakfast, a good move putting both her & Simon on the breakfast roster IMO.
 
Carole Malone, Benjamin Butterworth and Dominique Samuels as a panel on the Monday night show are too much - 3 strong personalities that shout over each other. A bit of debate is fine but it almost feels like a fight with them. And whilst I enjoy Mark Dolan, he can't control them well.
 
Not had it on for a while but watched the weekend show with Patrick Christys and noticed the quality of adverts has slipped dramatically. It's now all buy gold bullions/cash for gold/poorly donkeys. Andrew Neil is supposedly back in September.
 
I think they’ve improved but still a bit to go, hoping they hire someone for the vacant 5pm-7pm weekend slot and then we have a full weekend schedule.

Also think they should just have kept Calvin Robinson on mid afternoons, De Piero & Halligan were a fairly weak combo when I‘ve watched them, surprised they are still a double act when the others have disbanded.

The political briefings which are being brought in aren’t a good idea IMO. Maybe keep the midday one with Gloria as she’s an ex MP and can also give some decent PMQs coverage but we don’t need the other two shows and it’s not like Harwood or McCaffrey are that popular. They should use those time slots for some actual news.
 
Why on earth do they keep bringing Jon Gaunt on so many of their shows? Neil Oliver is a must watch for me but when I heard Jon was on his panel tonight, I just knew he'd ruin it so I've turned off. I've seldom read a positive comment about him so I imagine others are doing the same. And apparently he was extremely rude to Abi Roberts (who is awesome on Dan's show) off camera. Get rid and add in some better panelists.

Quality as in picture sound not content has been poor
When Andrew went on hols so early on it seemed odd and I thought there were issues
Michelle Dewsbury isn't a good presenter IMO

I think it was pretty apparent from his first few shows that he wasn't going to be presenting for long.

Now I wonder if he will throw the channel under the bus or still support it?

There is a market for an alternative TV channel that doesn't follow the overly woke and PC values of BBC, ITV, C4 and Sky.

Sadly, I don't think GB News is it.

One thing I will say. The left wing media can sod off with their continual bitching about GB News not being 'balanced'. They don't have an issue if a channel isn't 'balanced', if their views lean to the left.
 
I wonder what parts of it will be new programming and what will be the radio show "tv" stream?

This really is a blow to GB news

 
In a way they have the added advantage of seeing what’s worked and what hasn’t with GB.

Surely no recognised presenters are going jump ship after what’s happened with GB.
 
I always thought that Rupert Murdock would end up buying a load of GB News rather than trying to compete. Seems a bit odd as sky news hasn't really ever made any money. Maybe it'll be a replacement for sky news?

Will it actually be broadcast via aerials or just another stream?

It appears theie ace card is they’ve secured Piers Morgan. It all makes a bit of sense now.
