rubbish😂Its capped at two kids.2k a month is nothing for someone with 4 kids to live off ,especially if theyre single!

only if your kids are born after 2017! if they were born before youre not capped.

you really don't think £2k a month is a lot when youre in social housing on a low rent? 😳 thats more than I earn working full time in a 26k a year job lmao

i thought pip wasn’t an income based benefit so it wouldn’t affect your uc and the cap?

if any adults or children in the household get PIP, DLA, Carers, etc etc the cap doesn't apply to you

of course 2k a month isnt a lot to live off for a family of 5 😂
my mortgage is £600
coucil tax £160
food £600
gas and elec £ 300
car £300
childcare £200
petrol £200
thats just off the top of my head obv we have more bills .I live in the North in a 'cheap' area compared to the majority of the country

It don't apply to you though since you clearly work, have a mortgage and have to pay childcare costs.
She's talking about people in social housing who don't work so don't even have to pay their own rent as it also gets paid for them, no doubt in full having a few kids. Not to mention free school meals and all that jazz too. 2k is definitely a lot when a lot of stuff is being paid for them already.

most people on UC dont qualify for free school meals. The threshold is really low for fsm and free dental care ,prescriptions etc.
The people youre refering too might have their rent paid but it would come out of that 2k we're talking about and theres people renting ,relying on benefits and paying over 1k to rent home where theyre over crowded .
Im not defending Georgia ,shes clearly abusing the system but I stand by what I said that in many circumstances trying to stretch 2k in benefits a month for a family of that size is a hard task.

Georgia will probably have FSM but you’re right that it’s still not a lot, especially not when you’re in London. I’m also not convinced she’s making as much off TT as people think, sure she’s being sent loads of tat but her cars been broken for a while - if she was raking it in or getting loads from her baby daddy then I’d expect she’d have had that fixed or replaced quicksharp as she seemed to rely on the car a lot.

She said her budget for a car is between 5-10k , thats not someone who is poor

People have shared on tiktok what they make from.comission based ads, its a LOT

her rent is lower than £600 and her C Tax is something like £12 a month because of council tax support (she told me btw, this isn't an assumption) she also has no childcare costs so yes I do think £2k is MORE than adequate lmao esp when you don't work

I earn less than £2k after tax and NI and pension and earn £26k a year working 37 hours a week

The people youre refering too might have their rent paid but it would come out of that 2k

yes but £575 out of £2k is hardly a big whack, esp when you also heave heavily subsidised council tax as well

its irrelevant what you earn ,I think youre missing my point . I think working people are being absolutley shafted by the government ,believe me I work,my partner work and I feel yours and others frustration .Wages do not cover the cost of living at the moment .However ,despite only having to pay £575 rent,£12 CT ,free school meals etc its not a huge sum to cover the cost of raising 4 children plus one adult.Do I think she should be given more benefits ,no.Do I think her 2k will get her very far other than bills,no

Think she's done a delete. What was it ?
She made a video saying she had been quiet on tiktok because she was in a domestic violence situation and police and social work were involved. She said a lot of her family didn't know and apologised to them that they'd find out that way via the video. She also said her phone got smashed up and that's why she hadn't posted.
She didn't elaborate on anything else really just saying she was looking forward to the future with her kids. It would be interesting to know if it was her baby daddy or a new guy as that would prove a lot of posters to be right or wrong on what she's been doing with the housing and benefits
