youre not alowed to have over £6k in the bank and claim UC.
She will have it in the bf of familys bank account no doubt.Shes a scrounger and benefit cheat
This isn’t correct you can have up to 16k in savings and still claim UC, you can also earn up to 25k annually and still claim UC you don’t have to have zero money in the bank to claim. Also regarding her not working a regular job people do not have to look for work while on UC until the youngest child turns 3

It must vary place to place because my friend has a 2 year old and was told to look for work as she can use the free 15 or 30 nursery hours

oh i was told £6k however this was when we first went into lockdown ,maybe its changed.I know you can claim UC with money in the bank,I earned 30k when I claimed UC back in 2020

But she
she also commented on someone’s post saying she doesn’t agree with the amount of people in temp that have made tiktok accounts documenting there journey 😂😂 she really thinks she’s unique and the queen of temporary accommodation
But she's turned one of her accounts now to document that same journey she's saying people shouldn't document

Shes so stupid and wants to be the only one doing it

Cannot wait until she's done for benefit fraud because she sells and takes a good amount of money from.commissions on tiktok

The money must be going into someone else's account but she's making money from selling products and a good one

she comes across as a mean girl tbh
1000% that money is going somewhere else

I don’t know why but I always assumed you could only claim UC if you don’t have a job? Never you would could work and claim too

nope lots of people that work get uc top ups because wages aren’t enough etc
they also can pay 80% of childcare etc
it’s quite handy for some and does benefit them

You'd be surprised how much you can earn and still get UC. I'm a member on a benefits subreddit and a woman was being migrated from tax credits to UC posted her statement and with a partner who took home nearly £4K a month, and with nearly £20K in savings, was still eligible for around £2K in UC. If you claim any disability benefits, or particularly claim them for children then you can get some serious money. No wonder there's so many people claiming PIP now 😁

pip is ridiculously hard to get as is dla.
the only way people with children get “a lot” of money for those with disabilities is if they get high rate care on dla , which is actually quite hard to get and people have to fight and fight for it and sometimes it’s not worth the hassle or stress.

also how old is her youngest? shouldn’t she be made to look for work

Feels like every second person I know gets pip 🤔. I get what you mean though, I also know people who have been waiting 5 plus years for a diagnosis for their child and then there's some who just seem to "click their fingers" and then get it. Unfortunately there is a heck of a lot of people who know how to play the system and what words to say/how to act to get extra benefits which is so frustrating as it makes it harder for people who genuinely need them to get them and also the people who genuinely need them get placed under the same umbrella by the working public who demand for benefit recipients to get back to work.

Went on a rant there 😂 but it is annoying!

Yep, this is true, I had to fight for 2 years to get my child high rate care and low rate mobility for DLA, im glad. I didn't give up, but even then I don't get much Uc as work 35 hours a week, I'm in temp accom like Georgia but I don't moan about it every 5 mins like her, be grateful they're helping, she's with the baby dad right? If so she can move back to Manchester with him and they can house someone genuine, it's vile how many get away with cheating the system
