Four In A Bed - Channel 4

It’s a bit meh this week so far. When they were on the beach on day one, I was hoping it would be like that clip from You’ve Been Framed where a Great Dane barrels along the beach and knocked someone over

The second place wasn't somewhere I'd choose for a holiday stay, but that's a personal choice thing. However it had everything required and seemed clean and good value for money so I certainly would have no problem staying there if I was in the area.

Really liked tonight's b and b I loved the vintage style and the fact you could get up close and personal with the animals. Didn't think the cooked breakfast looked very appealing though, those sausages were very anaemic 🤢

Where are all the other people going to sleep? There’s no actual couples this week so they aren’t sharing beds.

I loved tonight’s place! The two sisters were overly critical I feel.
It was fabulous, Loretta is posting on Facebook, just as nice as she is on the show.
Can’t get over the party pooping sister, complained of staff noise at 8.00am. Well the noise was Loretta up and about preparing your fab breakfast.. and 8.00am is hardly the middle of the night. Obviously worried her place ain’t gonna measure up and getting her retaliation in first.
After Hugh stays at the sisters place he quoted it as ‘similar to student accommodation. .. she’s gonna be raving, can’t wait 😉

I understand the Sisters thinking their place is best, let’s face it we’d probably all be the same but they’re completely blinkered! The pods were almost clinical in their basicness & I agree with Hugh, they were student accommodation-like. A fluffy pair of socks don’t make for a luxurious stay! They need to look at some scandi log cabins for inspiration & add cozy, luxurious touches like sheepskin, wool blankets & quality cushions & kitchenware. If you’re paying for the view as the Sisters seem to think is the draw, you could sit on the hill or go for a walk for free!

ETA I really warmed to Mia & her business partner (name escapes me, apologies). I know everyone had them down as the game players at the start of the week but they’ve been fair & good game considering the other contestants are older than they are. I hope they’re not massive underpayers now 😁

I liked the idea of the glamping pods and the scenery was stunning but they definitely didn’t scream ‘luxury’. Even with the log burners, they felt a bit cold and the bedding was super basic. It needed some plush rugs, cushions, throws and cosy lighting. If I was them, I’d also think about adding an optional breakfast hamper.

Just catching up now. I do like the farm couple and the farm was lovely. Would like to see them come out on top this week.
Yes, they won, well deserved win.
Those mardy sisters though, she went on and on about “what they offer” .. what’s that then, an overpriced stay which IMO falls way short of luxury, they do have a nice view but even that’s weather dependent,

I think the underpayments for the Mayfield were a bit harsh. A quid or two, just to reflect it not being 100% would have been enough.
---
I think the underpayments for Sutherlands from the sisters were fair, Hugh's overpayment was justified. Mayfair went a little overboard.
---
Sisters' payment for Hugh and Loretta's place was just stupid
---
I don't think the sisters see past the view, which is certainly amazing but the pods were very basic.

I appear to have quoted myself 🤦🏼‍♀️
But on topic, worthy winners and I'd stay in Mayfield or Sutherlands at their prices too.
