I wanted Lewis to win, I love George but I am not counting on his Vegas party vibe, esp.with Carmen there.

Congrats to Max! Imo his best championship. Always finished where the car was capable of, be that 1st or 6th, and sometimes that’s what it takes. Lando and McLaren have a lot to learn in that regard

I will agree that this championship is his best: no controversies - to call it diplomatically- like in 2021, not so easy and boring like '22 and '23. And Red Bull owes him (no constructors WC aside) , a lot of it is his driving more than the car, covered their duck ups

If he hadn’t had a few blips where mad Max came back, I’d say he’s been flawless really. Massively helped by a bit of a bottle job from McLaren, other teams and drivers wouldn’t have made that so easy but you can only beat who’s in front of you. I liked his attitude a lot in the race today so kudos to him. Shame it means we have to see the smugness from everyone around him though
